Okay, fine. First of all, anything we say about the game is speculative because, again, we've only seen a tightly curated corner of what it will be. Assumptions are necessary to make an argument either way you're inclined to view it. As to why I am excited, several reasons. The quadcopter seems like a cool element, it allows you to scope out areas without breaking the immersion with a shitty omniscient mini-map. Well-done parkour has always been a plus in games because it opens up movement, lends itself to a sense of flow and forces the devs to consider just how much of the city people will see (which means spit and polish everywhere). San Francisco is rarely seen in games and Oakland/Silicon Valley are almost never seen in games, so being able to explore a version of those places has me excited. The black MC not only opens up narrative possibilities that aren't possible when the viewpoint character is white, he also (if done right) forces the writers to be more diligent with their research and possibly more creative with their scenario design; and because the devs are likely to be mostly (but not all) white, they will have to share their work with outsiders for critique more often to stay in peak form, making for a tighter overall setting.
