Abilities
Weapon: Uses brass knuckles.
Fury: Strength is proportional to how much damage he's taken. Has a rage meter with 3 levels for 3 different states of his health.(passive)
Switch stance: Can go back and forth between an offensive stance that deals more damage and a mobile stance that allows faster movement.
Uppercut: Ducks down, dashes forward, and throws a punch that launches the opponent into the air.
Tornado Punch (Ultimate): Spins around punching, creating a short range vortex that damages all enemies pulled into it. The vortex is bigger depending on his rage level.

Primary Weapon:
With her hand in the shape of a gun she fired bullets she absorbed during the fight.
Alt fire is a gas grenade that uses her unique stomach acids to deal heavy damage to armor and turrets.
Shift:
Plants her feet gaining 500 bonus health in armor and attracting bullets in a small radius around her. Lasts until you stop holding shift or you lose all the extra armor. Ending it prematurely drops 1 armor pick-up for every 150 bonus health remaining.
E:
A very short range, low cd tackle. On impact the opponent's weapons are disabled for 4 seconds and they're tossed a small distance to the left or right.
Ultimate:
Uses the metal in her body to become huge and upgrades all her abilities for a short time.Toss 2 gas grenades at once, absorbtion field size is increased and incoming damage heals for % of the damage it would've done, and the throw portion of the tackle has much more force behind it dealing extra damage if the enemy collides with the wall.

Meaning, he attacks with cards and dice.
There was talk about him having a sort of lineup, where, say, the next card would be a teammate buffer, the card after that an attack, the card after that a debuff, etc., so you would mix probability along with strategy and choices. You could choose to throw one or three cards at a time or drop dice as miniature bombs/slowing devices.
My idea is this.
The Megaman X future and the Overwatch future are one and the same.

Gretel, caricature of a warcraft rogue.
L-click Throws a poisoned knife, good accuracy however it has travel time. Similar to Genji's L-click but less damage.
R-click cycles the poison on the blade between one of three types. A light DoT, a slow and one that drains ultimate charge.
Melee applies a more potent version of the currently selected poison.
L-Shift Trade places with the target, about the range of a Tracer blink. Can work on friends as well as foesfor pure trolling potential.
E drops a smoke bomb and renders you invisible for a short amount of time but still able to take damage. Hanzo and Widowmaker's wallhack vision will still make you show up. Smoke bomb can be thrown at allies to make them vanish instead with the same rules.
Q Killing spree. Similar radius of Sound barrier, has you teleport between all targets in range striking them until 6 attacks have been made. if 6 enemies are in range each will suffer 1 attack, if only one is in range they will bare the brunt of all 6 hits etc. Also applies poison with each hit.

It would just require some tweaking to make him not too much like Mcree. Maybe make his E turning his hands into a shotgun or assault rifle or something
A character which is a parody on arena shooters. His appearance would be a generic green space marine.
Above average movement speed, double jump and average to below average health. He can pick up health even at max health, but any health beyond maximum will decay.
His abilities would be different generic arena shooter weapon types that he can change to at will. Changing weapon will leave your previous weapon on a cooldown. These weapons would include at least a rocket launcher that he can use to rocket jump around with. Ultimate would be the removal of the cooldown and if needed some damage boost and a shield.
His purpose would be adaptability and just a jack of all trades fun dude to play I guess.

Right click its an horizontal strike that pushes back
When he shifts he can use his whip to swing around the map
His E skill sets a a rope tied to two corners. You and your buddies can use that rope as a trampoline that lats until someone destroys one of the corners
When he usea his ult he tries to hook an opponent much like Roadhogg. If you are succesful you will throw the opponent as a projectile after 1 second. If you Irish Whip the opponent into the rope he will be sent flying away to the other side of the throw

Main weapon: Heartbreaker- An ornate flintlock that fires one bullet at a time with a slow reload. Can be shot at allies to heal them
Skill 1: Throws a rose that explodes in a burst of rose petals at the first target it hits. Allies in the are shielded while Enemies in the field deal reduced damage.
Skill 2: Dances for a short period. While dancing, Playboy cannot move but cannot be hit.
Ultimate: Lovestruck- Fires one penetrating bullet in a line. Enemies hit are lovestruck and stunned for a short period.

Glad you folks can finally admit it.
A knife throwing defense class of some sort.
LMB throws one knife, and you can hold RMB to throw up to three, in a similar fashion to zenyatta.
Knives cause a bleeding effect on hit. Hitting multiple times would only reset the bleed, not stack it. E is 10 second cooldown and lets your next knife hit and pass through multiple players, including shields. Shift is on a 20 second cooldown, and slightly raises your movement speed and knife-throwing speed.
Ult is TOKI WA TOMARE in a direction. Lots of knives in the same sort of hitbox as dragonstrike. If you're in the middle, you're fucked. Hard countered by genji, but lasts longer than reflect.

A female mid twenties in a hovering wheelchair. Appeals to all those koto soudo or whatever it is fags (MAI WAIFU) and SJF alike. Tank-ish toon,
Her passive is that by hovering in a large wheelchair, she can help peeps get to higher places by giving the lifts on her lap. Yeah I went there.
She would attack with mouse 1 with some tiny anti grav balls or some shit, like mini dkye lady ultimate, but only for a split second. Decent way to move turrets or snipers off balance for a faction of a second. Mouse 2 some mini aoe knockback shit like frogman.
Ability 1 would be to fly like phara. There is anti gav shit everywhere, why should there be only one flying ho?
Ability 2 Would allow her so attract shots towards he wheelchair, which as she has decent armour or some shit takes lesss damage. I dont fucking know work with me here. Either that or it has some turret seeking missile or something.
Ultimate is that she throws her legs at you since they were never properly attached and only there for cosmetic reasons since she can't use robot ones for some reason. They blow up or make an aoe effect which sends everyone/thing into the air.

Legendary skins is an icecream truck version, postman pat version or tank version.

The idea is to synergies his abilities. Hide on the ceiling, web the ground, when the enemy walks into it, they'll be slowed down, making for an easy pounce. Once they are pounced you shoot them with some more venom while they are stunned and then run away, hoping that your allies can finish the job. It should kill weak characters reasonably fast, and tanks will be considerably weakened.

I'd like a Hero with a focus on traps and giving ailments. It's design should be a shadow-like Demon that can 'possess' other team mates, similar to Mercy's warp skill, this Hero can warp to nearby team mates and attach itself onto them for easy mobility and can attack with melee while attached to team mate.
Example:

Picking up decaying health would mean absolutely no health left for anyone else. Ever noticed how chipping a slight bit of an armor makes you take a whole armor pack, and that walking in a field of armor packs while being shot makes you suck it all up, wasting a lot of it?

I think there's room for another melee character, maybe one with a spear with a slow attack speed but a longer reach and that can aim for critical hits
There's a "sweet spot" distance at which it does maximum damage, but if an enemy is too close and you try to attack it does a smaller amount of damage
E or M2 could be a kick which does little damage but has a decent knockback effect, shift could be a pole vault-style move, or a spear throw which renders you weaponless for a few seconds
Ult is a move where the spear shoots out, maybe with a range that's a bit more than Roadhog's hook. It goes through targets like Dragonstrike but not the environment, and it has a smaller AoE but does more damage.

Idea for a Tank character.
Has 100 health, 200 armor, and 700 shields.
E ability toggles a field that causes all damage dealt to allies within to be redirected to him(without building ult for enemies). Shift ability instantly replenishes all of his shields and has a 15 second cooldown. Left click is a long-range cannon that does more damage the further the shot travels but has no splash. Right click is a cannon that does a fixed, small amount of splash damage but splashes in a greater area the farther the shot travels.
I actually have game design experience and enjoy Overwatch, but jesus christ this thread makes me cringe. I'm not going to share my ideas here.

Offensively, yes, if he's by himself. But he can also support allies with his web that slows enemies down(good for defense) and he can build bridges that allow less mobile characters(like roadhog) to use shortcuts(good for offense)
Additionally, if you aren't defending a specific area, he can still use his shooters in a normal fire fight, they do have a base damage and they do get stronger with each shot, since the venom stacks. I know it's a DoT attack, but it's really just a small DoT, like 1 or 2 seconds. The idea is to continually shoot the enemy to keep it going. It's not much different from a flat damage attack, kind of like Mei's snow blower needs to be maintained for several seconds to actually do much.

I actually got the idea from playing Genji, because match after match I'd find myself above the enemy and thinking, "I wish I could jump down on these guys and do damage" What's the point of being able to climb high if it doesn't offer much/any of an offensive bonus? He doesn't have to sit in once place, he can move forward over and up obstacles in much the same way as Genji does. I wanted him to be an ambush character, either hiding and getting the drop on defense point intruders or someone who can get above the enemy like genji and get the drop on them.

Why do companies think people like losing control in a fight?
Robot butler who was reprogrammed to fight with the omnics he's support. He would serve health recovering refreshments (a plate of food he sets down) and his ult would be that he sets up a table of food that people can come back to with health on a cool down, basically he can place a refreshing health kit anywhere. His main weapon is he has a tray with a cloche on it and lifts up to reveal what's inside (it matches his tray of food healing item) but instead of food it's a bomb. The bomb only hurts enemy players but the food heals both. The tray of food is color coded for teams, which means if an opposing player comes across a tray on the ground he can gamble it's a bomb or if it's actually food. His melee is that he uses the towel on his arm like a whip.

He has a low damage output to balance that, and the slowdown doesn't damage people on it's own, like Mei's does. The stun isn't something he's gonna be able to do anytime he wants, and is meant to reward him for lining up a difficult to use ability that puts his easily killed ass in melee range of the enemy. It's high risk, potentially high reward.

I want an omnic that has deluded itself to believe he is a superhero and wears a cape and a onesie with a logo and all.
His standard attack is heat vision, one of his skills could grant him flight a la Pharah but more horizontal than vertical, and his other skill could be x-ray vision which allows him to see through walls. He has a passive that increases his damage and health depending on how many of his teammates are currently dead.
His Ult makes him fly up to the sky and then punch down the ground to create an AoE that clears people away from objectives.
I envision him fulfilling being a harasser and contester character.

I've said it over and over, his DoT isn't one hit for max effect. You need to continually hit the enemy to build it up. If you hit them with it once, it will do next to nothing. It's a stacking DoT that needs to be fired from a pistol multiple times.

A guy with a Giant sword as big as his body, he has a metal arm that shoots arrows, darts and Canon balls, you can switch ammo as each does different types of damage and trajectory.
for his Ultimate he gets possesed by an evil spirit and he jumps around swinging his sword and healing himself with every swing.
He is a bounty hunter tracking down all wanted members of Overwatch to turn them in for cash.

Doesn't matter that it's his "main contribution to the team", it's not going to change the face that people are going to hate playing both as him, because of his low survivability and damage, and against him, because of his constant slowdowns. No one likes being slowed down in a game, especially a fast paced game like this, where being slow makes you an incredibly easy target and prevents you from effectively pushing the objective.
Mei is by no means one of the strongest characters and has many counters, but that doesn't change the fact that people don't like playing against her, because she can slow people down very easily. No one likes playing against McCree because if he's waiting around a corner and you round it, you instantly die from stun + fan, but that's basically what you're doing with spider-boy, only he's waiting on a ceiling instead of around a corner.
