Also, DS3 has more weapons, but it's more the weapon types that are different from each other.
Every straight sword is pretty much identical, every spear is pretty much identical (besides weapon arts of course). The completely unique weapons are just a few boss weapons.
But there are still probably more movesets in dark souls 3, although they're not as complex.
Bloodborne's biggest weapon problem was the fact that you had very little choice in the beginning, something they fixed in DS3.

Here's the only tips you need:
1 dont level up resistance, ever.
2 two handing a weapon multiplies your strength by 1.5, which means that at certain levels of strength you can wield a weapon 2 handed, but not one handed. Two handing does nothing for your dexterity stat.
3 on the weapon screen there's often a letter underneath the stat icons. This tells you how useful that stat is for that particular weapon. Most useful to least useful:S,A,B,C,D,E
4 there are 3 tiers of rolling, light, mid and fat. Respectively, these rolls are gotten by being under 25%, 59% and 100% equip load. The lighter your roll, the more i-frames you have.
5 use a controller if youre playing on PC
6 Pay attention to the world, where you find shit, and read item descriptions.
Also, once you reach a boss called the 4 kings, fight him in light armor if you want a fun and frantic fight, and heavy armor if you want to cheese him like a little bitch.
