My brother and I were very close growing up, he looked up to me and I looked up to him. We both excelled at everything we did and would learn from each other. Our parents left us, moving across the country when we were both somewhat young (him 15 and I 16) and we had to live on our own finishing school and working. He started hanging out in the wrong crowd, doing lots of hard drugs and became distant. I shunned him for it, I kicked him out and told him I wouldn't help him if he wouldn't help himself.
A year had passed, and I rarely spoke to my brother at all. We were both graduating highschool and summer break had started. We all were doing those after grad parties and were away for a few days at a time and one day I left mid-party to walk out to a forest in the middle of the night. This forest was near where my brother and I had grown up and I just sat in the dark staring into the depths.
The next morning I get a call from my mother who I hadn't talked to in quite some time and she asks how things are going. She asks me if I have seen my brother and seemed concerned. I told her I haven't seen him and calmly explained that there are grad parties going on that last a few days so he probably won't be back for awhile. There is a short pause before she tells me "...your brother is dead". He had taken a large amount of drugs and hung himself in the very forest I was at.
It's been 5 years since then and I still think about him every day. He was a prodigy and it hurts to think about the amazing things he could have done if I had been there for him. I wish I could go back and do it all again but I can't. Every day I think of this and use it to be the best that I can be.

Tracer is fun scout gameplay, but the game is more disposed to more available heals and generally more tanky characters so you'll probably do less than you would as scout. You also do less burst damage relatively speaking.
Who thinks scout is a joke? Pretty high skill ceiling. Tracer has that as well. Probably the furthest you can take take skill at playing a hero in the game. Once you get a little bit of experience you'll shit on absolutely everyone 1v1 or even 2v1, but if they blob with more than that then you'll be pretty useless outside of your ult, and anyone's ult will deal with that just as well if not better.
torjboring is just a poorly implemented sentry gun and nothing else, DESIGNATED is really shit sneaky close range turrets with some heals and the teleporter
Note that while the teleporter is appreciated, it isn't as important as in TF2 as the games are a lot quicker.
mercy is copy paste medic pretty much
I find support cuck gameplay absolute detestable and think such roles should be removed from both games. But yeah, mercy and medic are the closest comparison between any hero.
Junkrat is demo with some meme tricks and traps on cooldown, pretty strong overall. I ignore mercy's existence so I'd say of all the options you'll probably be the most consistently useful as junkrat.
Not sticky launcher but unlimited ammo pillgun with better range.
