I'm going to make all the AI factions be generic humans.

Then the only aliens in the galaxy will be the random gen low tech species that you can bring up.

Also, is it possible to play with no other major AI? So it becomes more like a comfy space exploration game than a grand strategy game?

He's not wrong there. But to say trade in general is nonexistant is just flat out wrong. You can have agreements over resources per month or just single payments between eachother as well as research agreements and star charts/sensor links and whatnot.

You can even trade or gift planets

They had a whole "plant" species line that you could see in a livestream already, but isn't in the final game. So expect $4.99 there.

Robot/Synths/AI are pallet swaps, so expect $2.99 to give them unique portraits

Also, you can't start as Synths, so expect another $3.99 for that

No apes, so expect a $4.99 portrait expansion.

And then they need to add a worm species line. And energy beings. And black holes/neutron stars. And dyson spheres

Both. The slowdown is like intermittent microstutter. Its far from a deal breaker for me (i7-6700k in my rig) but people with older machines might want to avoid the fuckhuge galaxy settings. Even a "medium" galaxy is huge and youll avoid most of the slowdown.

Play MP immediately and just go hardcore slavery. Dumbasses at parashit removed the revolt mechanic for release because they couldn't figure out how to balance it correctly. Until then it's going to be a huge boost with no downsides.

That depends on how materialist you make them and what government type. You can be utterly without morals and values for example by choosing to be fanatical and then taking the hardest government type tied to materialists as well.

But you can also be individualist/collectivist in a good way beside your materialism and go for something like a moral democracy or whatever else that's more friendly and caring about your own citizenry (and Xenos if you're also xenophile)

Warpdrives is just going to any planet you want relatively slowly. Very free movement, but slow.
Wormholes require generators to be built and have limited range. Relatively free and quick movement, but expensive.
Hyperdrive works through lanes that connect systems. If you get shit RNG, you'll be stuck having to take retarded routes. Potentially restricted movement but quick and cheap.

Absolutely.

Not as effective against a enemy player, considering that if he has any brain he'll make a priority out of disabling your wormhole stations and either cut off your fleet from returning home or cut off your fleet from getting to a section of space they are decimating.

So you better invest in some station defenses if you go wormhole against enemy players

Pym is great. Some writers fixate on the times he fucked up to the point they've made it a meme, but honestly his fuckups make him all the more interesting. He's a guy who tries to be the best superhero he can be, but his own nature and mental instability works against him.

Marvel does this to a lot of their characters, unfortunately. Just look at all the shit they did to Scott Summers over the years, or how they've treated Namor recently. All interesting and conflicted characters that got turned into memetic scapegoats for the more popular characters to rail against.

even then wormholes are a bit slow, if some hyperspace warmonger ships his entire fleet to one of your systems you won't be reacting quickly enough to it
>>
>>337023115

Anyone with that hyperspace lane shit can travel around really fast, you'll have your wormholes yes but you do need to travel to a star that actually has one before you can wormhole to anywhere in its area of reach.

Building a wormhole in almost every star will cost you a lot and slow you down having to invest so much, especially if it has a maintenance cost as well (don't know if it does)

There are a few that don't follow the basic humanoid template, like some of the Arthropoids, Molluscoids and Fungoids.

But yeah overall it's a bit homogenic and anthrocentric in design. Probably just because it's easier to animate.

Have I got news for you...

Actually he doesn't actively try to ruin them, he just hates superheroes and uses them to create his own 2deep4u philosophical/religious "Superman is literally Jesus" imagery while still cramming all of it into a generic superhero action movie. Ruining the characters is just a minor side-effect.

>Still no GMG key
>>
>>337023582

The thing is, unless you then also invest in station defenses heavily a hyperlane player will still be faster regardless. They can make it their business seeking out every last one of your wormhole generators even if you happen to have more than one. They can keep on the move due to their speed. So as a wormhole player you are forced to play more defensively, you absolutely have to invest in station defenses or these gotta go fast players will just move right through
