No but my buddy did find a prototype Vita and bought it on the spot.
When it arrives we'll see what we can do.
Firmware wise, I'm stuck at 3.300.041 due to my system requiring DEX firmware updates. So I can't activate it (even with a PS3), get online via spoofing, nothing. I did use a combination of my PSTV and the test vita but only up til a point. Then my brother decided to take it online without a spoofer active while I was out of the house and now its on 3.60 and cant do a goddamn thing with it.
The most we can probably do is use an M2 Memory card and change the pins to create a Vita memory card because thats all it really is (and a lot cheaper).
I'll upload the guide to do the cart dumping process sometime next week. I need to write up the second method and need to rewrite the first method (the one I cant do with better success rate)
In short - fuck everything that happened this week but there's still hope in many places

To dump games the easier and more reliable way you need to have double the capacity free on the card.
So if your game is 3.5gb and you have a 4gb, you cant dump it as it does a duplication of all the memory card, and well theres not enough space. So if my game (with update) is 5gb, I need to ether get a 16gb or go without the update files.

absolutely but we can essentially build an adapter and theres a strong likelyhood the memory card will be accepted. As long as it can connect and be ID'd by the Vita it will accept it and format it accordingly, and then we need an M2 card reader and can just read the contents.
The issue comes here when you learn that these memory cards are very very very brittle. PCB scans arent present because they break so easily.
Sony systems are built around encryption and are normally more secure than most systems in both the hadware and software (the exception for ps4 being that they used a BSD version with exploits that were present and that was their own fuckup)

For me, the only bad part about SAC was Motoko's outfit, which, thankfully, was given pants by 2nd Gig. Both the sub and dub is good, so watching either is fine. And we'd have to go for depth rather than breadth for the cast, e.g. only the most popular tans get in, but they have very deep and focused routes, rather than including every single obscure tan in the VN.

This is very true. I didn't show them but i drew some simple references on paper, took a picture of them with my phone, emailed them to myself and then use a curve tool in Paint.net to make make my drawings smoother and more clear.

I have experience writing a lot of detailed stories and game concepts out on paperas a hobby, I don't actually make games,but planning out a VN would be one of those "two heads are better than one" things. Heads up, I've read a lot about the western VN work process and 9/10 of them fail for the same reasons.
You need 1 writer to do everything, 1 artist to do all the characters (use few poses/faces), use filtered photo backgrounds (like Katawa shoujo did), and 1 programmer. For music just use vidya music. There, done.

Word. It's an interesting idea, sure, but we really need to keep in mind that the only moderately successful VN that this entire website has ever produced was Cripple Fucker 2012. Not to mention the fact that we have a pretty massive niche here, and most likely wouldn't be getting the sheer amount of support from cross-board efforts as KS ever did.
When we talk about stuff like this, we cannot afford to forget Bro-Quest, /v/ The Fightan Game, Run and Jump, etc. A lot more has failed to ever come to a working prototype, let alone a finished release.

i have the knowledge of packing things for most major consoles, and the tools to do so for the most part.
all youd really need to do is find some coder thats willing to take the piss and handle it and i can give essentially all youd need to make it work on consoles (generally ps3/360 as the target)
though it would take a lot of work and youd have to use an engine thats established or create your own. hell you can use MUGEN if you need to and that would solve a lot of the issues already.
