The lizard thing is fixed easily by the person suiciding himself.
the extra souls however, will immediately trigger the anti-cheat. You can't avoid this.
DS3's anticheat works basically by sending a message to a central system and flagging your account for secondary inspection. A warning about invalid game data is given and the delay for the second check is there so players who install faulty mods or something don't accidentally get banned (because they have time to delete the mod, etc.)
This is why reverting to an old savegame works.
Then later (I don't know the delay, a set time apparently. I believe every tuesday) the second check on all flagged accounts happens. If they still show invalid game data, they get banned from online play.
Of course most DS3 players are shitters that don't run savegame backups and don't realize to fix that shit after they get the first warning. considering this guy got hundreds of people flagged, it'll be funny if they actually get autobanned.

Then the weapon also fucks with some stats that when the game checks flags the for cheating. Sure, but ultimately the developers probably didn't have this high degree of accuracy in mind when they made it so they never really did anything that requires it.
While I'm sure it has its moments every now and then a lot of people are just more comfortable with a controller than a keyboard for Souls because the atrocious initial port meant it was preferable to use it until it was fixed, while I'll concede M+KB is better in the sense of it being mechanically better I don't think there are any real benefits that warrant turning off your controller and playing with the keyboard controls instead.
