I've been listening to the 8-4 Play podcast recently, and mobile games is featured heavily almost without fail. Obviously if that's where the market is going then fine. I'll still miss those first party Nintendo games though, if they ever forget them. Which I doubt they will but maybe if the NX and 3DS follow up are unsuccessful then who knows. Their investors might just see it as pointless to keep producing consoles that fail.

I'm fine with this. I've played through Shadow Dragon and Sacred Stones on my phone, and Animal Crossing is a 3DS only title after GameCube. It's not a big deal, as long as they don't start putting in franchises that can't be controlled with phones.
