A bonfire appears in that room if you kill them, and one of them drops the ring of favor. If you use a bow you can pull one into the area by the ladder, still a pain to fight though
I goddamn hate myself for losing story/quest content running blindly. I've checked wiki few times and I've missed bluemoon covenant, Patches encounters, blue lady encounters and fuckload of other stuff. Anyone notice that arrows FINALLY fucking have decent hit detection? Like I can peak around the corner, fire an arrow, and the arrow won't "hit" the space 3 feet to the right of a pillar anymore? Second phase was easier. Big ass attacks with long pauses. Killed him first try with 2 estus remaining.

The servers are at their most stressed, over time they will add new ones...or pvp will die out. In either case the lag on the server side will improve. Just make sure yours is good as well.
So I miss siegward at the well, I just passed through him straight to bonfire and went somewhere else. Later when I got back there he wasn't there anymore. I'm curious about the thief npc. At the same time I'd rather not be spoiled. So at first I thought it was interesting that he could vanish on will after talking to him. Made it seem like he was using the jail as a safe place but that he could leave whenever he wanted. Then the npcs after him do the same thing and what I thought was a cool thing about the thief character is just usual for the other npcs. Is there a reason they vanish in thin air like that?

All the weapons skills are used by L2, you mongoloid fuck. There's an entire class of shield in the game that specifically allows you to use weapon skills of your right hand weapon, to boot.
Here's a tip: you can enter fashion mode in the equipment screen by clicking the right stick twice. You'll be able to see your character in full and see what gear looks good together.

You can make it a little less miserable by equipping a dagger with the Quickstep weapon art. When you have to wade through the mud, two-hand the dagger and mash quickstep. It'll eat up your FP, but you can still perform the move with 0. It's significantly faster than walking or fatrolling through the mud.

After thoroughly dicking around in Lothric and the Undead Settlement, I've moved on to the Road of Sacrifice, and I can already say that I honestly hate it.

Best way to cheese him is to move him towards the staircase on the far right side of where you're looking. Go up the stairs and just kill the shitslugs that go towards you. Once you're done, get the giant in that area where you can easily just slap his foot a few times, then back up onto the staircase.

I've done all of Undead Settlement except for the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, which I'm at now. Two tries so far, first phase was no problem on second try anymore, no health loss. Third phase was random dodging and hitting and used almost all estus, third phase gave me the rest. Using Claymore +2, pretty happy with it so far.
Definitely doable, but I have to leave for a few hours now.

Well during that delay, that guys sign is still active in peoples worlds, and those are the ones that give the error.
Combine that with people basically instantly summoning every sign that goes down and you've got worlds full of Unable to Summon signs.
