While the game had it's flaws like being incredibly unbalanced, having a small roster, costing too much for snk and taking too long to come out. The music,presentation and everything else was great. The art style was great too even if some characters looked deformed. It is pretty much the black sheep of kof but it's still pretty good compared to the other fighters we got like sf4, mvc3 and mortal kombat 9 (lol).

This all depends entirely on how big the roster is. If it's smaller, then I'd accept Mario and Luigi or Peach. If it's bigger than like, 20-25 characters, then Peach and Bowser should be in for sure. Maybe Wario or Yoshi if they count as Mario characters.
But then most of the characters I'd really want in wouldn't even be Mario characters anyway.

I worked at Sora for little over a year, but decided to quit after about a month of constant harassment from him. He was always sleeping during meetings, or playing Kirby Fighters under the table even though everyone could tell. One day I couldn't stand it anymore, he was sitting next to me chewing gum and everytime I tried to talk he would blow a bubble and pop it to interrupt me. After the fifth time I grabbed him by the shoulder, the rest of the staff gave me worried looks of disaproval. He looked me straight in the eyes, chewing his gum extremely loudly. He reached for the gum pack in his pocket and presented it to me, then he said in broken english:

I lost my temper and knocked it out of his hand, Sakurai gave me this look like he couldn't believe what I was doing. After that he was quiet for the rest of the meeting, victory was mine, or so I thought.
The next day I sat down by my desk, only to find a piece of chewed gum stick to my ass when I sat down on the chair. I consulted Sakurai about it, but he acted dumb and pretended to have no idea what I was talking about. But it didn't stop there, every day he would put a piece of chewed gum somewhere. Under the mouse, in my shoes, between my papers, he even replaced the bento my wife had made for me with nothing but different flavors of chewed gum.

I would just hope that Capcom avoids overlap with Smash Bros. I don't want them borrowing movesets from it or throwing in nonsense characters like Jigglypuff or Sheik simply because they were in Smash.
I would view this as a chance to get something different for once and to maybe get some movesets that actually fit these characters and I wouldn't want Smash to creep in and fuck it up by offering more of the same.

It's definitely one of their more popular properties but I don't think Marvel wants to give much acknowledgement to anything that isn't making them billions in the box office. As long as Fox is holding onto those film rights, X-Men is always going to play second fiddle to the Avengers.

Here's the thing. I play Metroid to be a badass in a suit. I don't care about who's in the suit as they're basically useless without it. Zero Suit can be in a NvC game, but only during the character intro before she armors up and then maybe she takes her helmet off afterwards.
