I liked SMN, myself, but I haven't played since Heavensward. I also used to like affliction lock in WoW, so that's probably why.
Monk is not very fun, all mechanics or phase change longer than 14 seconds ruin you.

After downloading the latest NVidia driver my fps went from stable 60 to constant 30. Do yous guys have similar problems?

Monk is pretty relaxed, you just do your thing for the entire fight. It's also fairly fast-paced and there's always SOMETHING to do, so it doesn't get bored.
Ninja is more involved, in both good and bad ways. So I'd say if you want a more chill experience, go with MNK, if you want to be more active, NIN it is.

A 35 potency dot with 30sec duration cannot do more than 350 potency worth of damage every 30sec. Why this is such a fucking hard thing for some retards to grasp is beyond me. If you spam said dot several times before it needs ACTUAL refreshing, you literally lose DPS.
Pic being all 3 at i223.AST is normally lower than WHM but good card RNG made it outdo WHM just barely which should not be accounted for normally besides the opener card.
mch is fun.
Ninja is fun, not too hard to play but still involved enough to keep you interested. I like being able to run faster than other jobs and offer some support while doing good DPS.

I haven't played in a while, and only hit 60 in the expansion (no raiding content), but I had the most fun playing MNK. It can be stressful keeping Greased Lightning up but it adds challenge and rewards DPS wiseunless this has changed.

So I tried the PS4 trial because my pos pc couldn't handle it, but now I fixed it so I wanted to try it again. However, I am not able to log into the Pc client with my ps4 trial handle.

I'm not sure how it works with the trial but in order to play on both PC and PS4 with the full version, you have to buy both versions and register two different codes to your account on the mog station

I've quit the game now for various reasons but I used to main monk. There's no doubt that I would have quit a long time ago had monk not been a class. A lot of people are turned off by it because of stuff like >>332333410 but imo its by far the most satisfying DPS class, it's fast and takes some degree of skill (inb4 everyone responds with why their class is the hardest). I hear they've added a glamour where you can fight bare handed, which sounds neat.
DRG is babby's first DPS, it's slow as shit and honestly not that fun. NIN is for Naruto-loving kids.

I mained MNK through 3.0-3.1, felt quite stressful to plan and min/max all things including Chakra/Form shifts, but result was very satisfying. Later got my NIN BiS and never felt that stressfull in same fights (a3s, a4s), but just didn't really liked the class for some reason.

Holy fuck I can never go back. You really fucking feel that .5s difference in GCD. Also Gauss Barrel is fucking stupid. I main SCH so when I play a DPS I want a break from all that cast time shit.
Also, how can I git gud at NIN? Currently level 51 and I've been studying lvl60 openers and they seem fucking hard. Properly balancing all of the ticking timers is really tough for me as well, and I havent even gotten armor crush yet. I usually end up having DE, SF, and/or MU fall off for several seconds before I can reapply or I end up reapplying when they still have ~3s left.
I need tips.

Because the game does a horrendous job at actually teaching players how to play the game. It fails in so many ways that it's actually surprising to find anyone in duty finder content that is even adequate at their basic role, much less being able to handle mechanics in more challenging content.
To start, the game never ensures you actually understand anything. Dungeons and trials that should be doing this either are lenient enough that mechanics can be ignored or are just so simple that even one competent player can carry the rest through. The game also doesn't really make it apparent why you failed, so people never learn. Sure sometimes you can clearly see it, but to a new player failing a new mechanic to them and getting instantly killed doesn't really translate the anything learned.
Another issue is that the game just plain sucks at actually teaching you anything when it tries to. Just look at the class and job quests. Those should be forcing the player to understand the basics of their class and how it works into the larger party setting. Instead they're almost all variations of "go hear and kill this thing" doesn't matter if you're a tank, healer or dps. A Marauder quest actually has you go around hitting things with skull sunder, you're second move in a combo, but you don't combo it, yeah that's a great fucking thing to teach Square.

You can leavge that shit until below 10s. It only takes about 6-7s to go through a combo to extend it.
If it's kinda low and everything will need reapplying soon, swap an Aeolian to save the reapps. Otherwise, yeah, leave that shit as late as you want.

Being able to dps as a healer is great. Makes dungeons and trails noticeably shorter the healer makes an effort. You don't even have to try that hard, cleric stance is so easy to pop in and out of that even the most conservative healer could get in some dots every now and then. Nothing pisses me off more then a healer doing nothing when everyone's health is full.

I figured that Armour Crushing at <40 seconds would result in the same overall number of Aeolean Edges coming out:
eg. if you refresh Huton at sub-10 seconds, per your instruction, it takes two crush rotations to get you back to full; whereas if you refresh any time you fall below 40 you're always on full.
Would that not be better? Since the extra latency safeguards against phase transitions, timers elapsing, and other fuckery.

No, you don't ever really want to be on full after the initial cast.
Doing it twice at 10 to get to 70 is functionally no different than just doing it once every 30s, which is what you'd usuallybe doing anyway. You can quite comfortably live within those 40s with no problem.
I'd only suggest going to full at the end of a boss/pull so you're ready to Suiton (hopefully) immediately on the next pack/boss.
Phase changes etc are slightly different, some are genuinely long enough to actually just Huton through justsu and blow all your time beforehand. I'd probably double extend to make sure for those I know jutsu won't be back up.
Generally, live in that last 40 unless you know you'll need the time and the jutsu.

It shifted the aetherflow around which changed climates all over Eorzea. Coerthas was already mountainous, so it just got colder. Thanalan is much, much greener now and it rains constantly in Drybone. A small rainforest sprouted up in La Noscea. Mor Dhona was a wasteland for 10 years where nothing would grow, but now plants are beginning to grow there again.

I'm on Tonberry and I even get called a stupid foreigner every so often because the gooks don't like to be at fault for things, but other times you can run into some extremely nice and endearing JPs trying to communicate with you in broken English.
I know Balmung is one of the if not the highest population out of all the servers, so finding a community to get yourself into shouldn't be that difficult to find. It really just comes down to you being able to get over your depression/anxiety.

It's a small DPS loss to use Aero yes but it's quite a MP conservation tool so if you intend to DPS balls to the walls as much as you can, I strongly suggest keeping Aero in your rotation as you trade 180mp for 10 less potency every time which to me is worth it for long fights.

Really depends on your class. Dragoon you want to be sitting at 2.39/2.40 GCD and no lower than 2.39. 2.40 is basically required to do our rotation optimally and it lines up with you refreshing Heavy Thrust about a second before it falls off.
Dragoon rotation now also intentionally clips over chaos thrust/phlem. Apparently it would take like 2.0 or 2.1 GCD or something ridiculous like that for a non clipping rotation to be optional and forgoing all the other stats to get there is not worth it.

Maybe I just haven't gone up against a good MCH yet then. I think I've had 1 match in around 100 matches so far where a MCH out-dpsd me, me at 17000 and him at 18000.
I've never worried about them since I felt like they're not as good. I've constantly looked out for other BRDs because I have been wrecked myself by them 2-3 times.
I know nothing about a MCH burst, but I feel like if MCH has better dps overall, BRD has the better burst. I have seen no other class burst like BRD does, my jaw drops whenever I can successfully pull off the combo I mentioned above because it's just so ridiculously good.I feel so fucking bad for enemy BRDs who try to pull of the same thing I do, but I weave in between walls to avoid it, then when there Barrage is almost over but I'm in their sight, I bind them.
