I really enjoyed Dragonborn. It's a decent time waster and fun to explore. The story was at least somewhat interesting. Hearthfire is ok if you dig the whole house building thing. Dawnguard is quite entertaining but not as good as Dragonborn. To me though it was worth it just for the Crossbows.

Alright so I'm interested in Lost Planet 2 and Battlefront 2. Should I pull the trigger? I'd hate to buy them and find dead servers and no one playing.

If you liked the base game, they are both fine. Dragonborn has an actually engaging story but in my opinion the the environments never really were very interesting to me, while Dawnguard had a boring story but pretty cool areas and new armor/weapons actually worth using.
Hearthfire is basically a lesser version of many well done house mods, but if you're buying the DLC you may as well get it all as a pack. If you really like adopting children then Hearthfire is for you I guess.
Has anybody played Jedi Academy? I like the idea of lightsabers and shit but I didn't really like Jedi Outcast because the levels were too confusing.

I think Jedi Academy is a little bit more straightforward, but the first time I played it was years ago while the first time I played Jedi Outcast was when I got it on sale on Steam last year. I like both of them though, being able to go two-bladed or dual lightsabers is pretty fun.

Look through some video of Shadow Warrior. If it looks like something you'd like, you'll like it.
It's a fun FPS that also has a heavy melee focus. Can become a bit bullet spongy later on in the game, but still fun.

Looking for input on The Talos Principle for $15 and Life is strange for $14. I'd say so. I got the game early this year when they had a deal on Both Endless Legend and DotE and enjoyed both. Getting the Endless Legend collection is worth it if you're into 4x games, but it can take some getting used to because of how different it is from Civ.
Wind Walkers are recommended for your first runs.

I & II use the glorious bump combat system.
Ys: 6, Origin, and Oath use a different engine that is a more traditional attacking and jumping things. Ys: 6 was the first one on that engine so it is a little rough around the edges. Oath in Felghana has my favorite final boss fight in all of vidya.
