Kevin is pretry much the best support character thanks to his S-break and Party CP restore craft.
Olivier is the best mage and buffer.
Agate is good for CP spam attacks.
Zane is not only the best tank but the best big fucking hits.
Joshua is fast and really good at dealing both physical damage and magic damage and is locked into an element that is non-elemental allowing him to hit just about anything. His AT delay also makes him really useful at manipulating turn order.
Schera is really average in just about everything but has a useful AT up craft to manipulate turns.
Estelle is an all rounder, not really good at anything but not bad at anything either.
Tita is good for debuffing thanks to her range on regular attacks and crafts.
Kloe is pretty much a pure healer with a really good debuff and a useful healing S-break but can't do much more other than that.

She wasn't that great in FC either, Taking Olivier was better simply because if Saint and better attacking spells, but mostly because of saint.
In FC she was more useful because of her debuff being -50% but even then, thats literaly all she could do other han heal. Her range was extremely short and she was still locked to three water slots.
Speaking of FC, Agate was really shit there other than for farming poms. Wild Rage only gave 50 CP so it was much better to spend on reular crafts than build up for s-break.
So, a question about importing the 100% file into SC.
All you get for getting all the Bracer Points is a rare drop up quartz. Monster drops in FC are pretty much pointless, is it the same in SC? Are monster drops pretty much just ingredients and things not to care about?
Am I going to give the slightest fuck about not having that quartz because of the one bracer point I missed? (stipid smoke canister on floor 1.)
How long is the third trails in the sky game? I heard dialogue wise it's probably shorter than FC or around the same, and the story is self contained but branchs off to Ao/zero and develops characters and closes up certain things that weren't asnwered.

If you're playing on Normal than tiers don't matter too much since it isn't a very hard game, but:

She's a jack-of-all-trades, which is a bit unfortunate since in this game specialization is better than all-rounding. She doesn't have any locks though and you can make her a great support character since you're expected to dump all the utility quartz on her. She can also take a hit and Morale is pretty useful.
>Joshua
Sanic speed and good on both physical offense and arts. His crafts and S-Crafts are god-tier and he has Time locks on his orbment which is great because Time is non-elemental and thus can't be resisted, make sure to spam White Gehenna. Nothing personnel.
>Agate
Slow as fuck but hits super hard. Wild Rage and having someone who can use healing crafts/Earth Guard on him breaks a lot of the game in two because he can spam S-Crafts with impunity, but this becomes less effective later on. Shit at magic but who cares.
>Olivier
Best pure mage in the game thanks to having a single line for his orbment with the low price of one Mirage lock. He can also attack from super far and early on Happy Trigger acts as an instant La Tear. Most of his crafts and S-crafts are pretty shitty though.
>Kloe
Better on paper than in practice, she's your dedicated healer and has the EP pool to spam heals, but three Water locks hurts her bad and having more magic power doesn't actually make your heals stronger. Her first S-craft is a useful panic button (not as good as Kevin's though) but her offensive S-craft runs off of her awful STR for some reason so it suck ass.

Okay mage with a Wind lock, she isn't as strong as Olivier but she can make your characters go fast which is always useful. A slut.

Each character has their own niche.
Estelle can be whatever, she's not great at anything but not bad at anything either.
Joshua is fast and can be both a physical attacker and a mage but is frail as fuck.
Schera and Olivier are pretty good mages, Olivier's mage capabilities get buffed quite a bit in SC.
Agate and Zane are awful mages due to having tons of lines but great physical attackers.
I forget Tita's orbment but she's also meant to be a physical attacker/trash mob clearer.
Kloe seems like a great mage on paper but her 3 Water locks hurt more than help since healing spells don't scale with ATS and she's therefore limited to healing, debuffing and water spells.

In chapter 1 and on you start getting ivolved with more major cases with 3 and 4 having the biggest.
That being said, the game itself is more of a journey of personal growth for Estelle and Joshua, while SC gets in touch with the actual drama behind the story.

I enjoyed watching it, but if you're the type who will get pissed about the fact that they butchered the story then you should think twice.
My main gripes with it are that they made Estelle look like too much of a bumbling idiot (Sure, she's pretty goofy in the game, but she's still a competent bracer by SC) and Olivier isn't serious enough. Even though he's kind of a weirdo, he still does have a serious side, and they don't show that at all.
Anyway, like I said, I still enjoyed it despite the flaws. I wish they had covered the whole story, though.

Her only good ability is an aoe STR buff and ability to equip any quartz. She's worse than most of the characters and at best suited for support, currently i just gave her cast 3 quartz which lowers her attack and put her behind other characters so she could spam earth walls and ex clock ups.

Her offensive crafts are GARBAGE aside from comet maybe. Cyclone does like 1/2 of the weapon damage without any extra effects, impede art almost never works, her one target only s-craft does less damage than Joshua's s-craft which attacks everyone on the screen.
