So, /v/. I've never played a Legend of Zelda game, but I've heard so much about the series I thought I might give it a go.
So, where do I start? I know there's something about diverging timelines, and some are stand-alones or something. Is emulation the best/easiest way to play them nowadays?

Why do you even play competitive mode? Do you aim to be the best? Do you really think you have what it takes to be the top 0.1%? If you arent the best, what's the fucking point of even trying? Competitive mode is a waste of time. You're just stepping stones for people who are faster, smarter and more skilled than you. Seriously what's the point? you win 51% of games? Cool. There's people out there who win 90%. You're small time.
Here's my advice. Give up. it's not fun, there is no "point" go play a non competitive mode and live out the rest of your mediocre days.

I'm not playing competitive until there's some form of solo queue. Until then I don't think it really has any value unless you have a full team.

Yeah fuck Overwatch i just finished a game of Competitive with my promos, I won the game but i was given a defeat because the game crashed on me when the 2nd round begun and i rejoined the game. Time to uninstall this piece of garbage.

I just beat Fallout 1 for the first time without using any help/guides/mods or anything, what an amazing experience.
About to start Fallout 2. Is it as good? Are there any improvements? Things I should look out for or know in advance? Is a speech+small guns playthrough still viable?
Also, are there any other CRPGs like Fallout where it's not some generic fantasy setting, but instead a more unique setting (post apocalyptic, space, modern times)?

I've already played 3 and NV extensively. I've come to the conclusion recently that 3 is a lot of fun and pretty good- if you completely avoid the main story.
