Does /v/ read any novels based on video games? I've been catching up on Warcraft lore, but I have to say, these books are just terrible. Take the worst parts of the WoW lore, then have an edgy manchild who loves one-liners write the book with little supervision with no higher up to check the quality of the book. That's every Warcraft book ever made.

Last thing I'd ever read would be vidya books for the exact reasons you've stated.
I did read some 40k books, though: Eisenhorn (first book, bretty gud), Gaunt's Ghosts (first book, bretty gud) and Ravenor (last book, boring as shit).
Also there's The Witcher but it's the opposite here. It's still a decent read.

I've only just started Dark Souls last months so I'm still learning the characters. Artorias seems like a badass though. But Seigmeyer and Solaire's optimism are both greatly appreciated.

An MMO that's basically a sequel to Star Wars Galaxies.

Why do so many people hate on iron sights in FPS and speak as if it was so much better when you could only shoot from the hip? In reality, shooting from the hip is impractical and imprecise. The iron sights are on the gun because you need them for lining up a shot correctly. I can pretty much guarantee you that anyone who hates iron sights has never fired a real gun before (I have a conceal and carry permit so I know a thing or two about guns).
