I did but only because I wanted out of that fucking area as fast as possible. I stumbled into the painted world totally by accident and when I realized I couldn't leave I just blitzed the entire area. Great place for soul farming actually, once you open the main doors at the beginning you can farm the shit out of those spartan slug things. Good for 800 a piece as a remember and there's at least 15 of them.
