/v/ has the worst taste imaginable if they think this is some marked improvement over the GBA/NES versions. Especially when there are quality SNES JRPGs that one could be playing like Bahamut Lagoon or Glory of Heracles 3
But you know what's stupid about people that defend Final Fantasy 1? They're also the same kind of people that would shit on Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for its insultingly simplistic design and plot.

They're probably some of the best vidya trailers in existence. Its a shame the game wasn't nearly as good as the trailers.

Of all vidya? Nah. They're the best trailers in any visual medium. I'm not sure if they could be classified as more than that. But to be fair most trailers are awful either in film or in videogames.

Am I the only one who thinks it's still too early for this? Dark Souls 2 came out just 1 year ago + all the billion DLCs and Scholar of the First Sin and Bloodborne came out 7 months ago. There's no way this game won't feel massively rushed and incomplete.

Yearly releases bring in da dough. Expect Bloodborne 2 in 2017.
Every Souls game after DeS needed to have shit cut from them because Bamco keeps pressuring From into releasing them before they're properly finished.

I'm about to play VTMB for the first time and wanted to know, what clan I should choose? I read over this image and installed the unofficial patch, but all the options seem pretty cool. Does it really matter since I can just replay the game?

Like it says, pretty much anything but nosferatu or malkavian are good for a first playthrough. Personally I went Ventrue first, they're pretty good at talking and tanking stuff. Really depends on what you're going for OP

You probably shouldn't go with Nosferatu or Malkavian for your first run as they change quite a bit. Toreador is also probably the most boring clan.
Other than that, be free to choose one that seems fun for you.

I recently got some money on steam and I don't know what games to get. Is there any really good hidden gems out there I should get? I'm really into indie games like undertale and guild of dungeoneering. Any recommendations are cool though I'm just looking for a few games to sink my time into. I also have 2 copies of FORCED from a 4 pack so if you recommend me a game and I get it I'll give them away.

I'm playing this motherfucker right now and is it me or is the game way too easy? I'm near the end I'm guess (I'm at the chapter where you're initially followed around by Sae after you lose your camera, but I found said camera and got way past that part). I just realized, I have a fuckton of healing items, 16 Herbal Medicines, like 6 Spiritual Waters, and one Stone Spirit. I'm basically fucking invincible right now and I'm taking out ghosts left and right with Type-14 film. I think I liked the first game more. The difficulty of that one was brutal but it also really added to the atmosphere of the game.

Fatal Frame 2 is definitely the easiest of the Fatal Frame games but it's not like any of its successors are particularly hard either. Only 1 is any kind of challenging thanks to untranslated puzzles and the old monk.
That is the one thing I liked more about the first game: the ghosts generally presented more of a threat in it. Some of those ghosts that just randomly wandered around were extremely deadly, which helped keep the tension high.
Fatal Frame 2 does have some unlockable difficulty modes and is generally pretty replayable, though, which is nice. The unlockable challenge/mission mode is pretty fun too.
