For me, as a person that have never played any Elder Scrolls game other than early beta of ESO, what should I buy between Oblivion or Skyrim? I live in Norway, so the landscape isn't exactly a selling point for Skyrim.

nostalgia is a strong drug
Most people aren't into the lifestyle that the game is largely based around. If you haven't heard of Risky Devils or Speedhunters before this game I could see why you're not enjoying it. Ghost games basically one-uped Genki and made the perfect Tokyo Extreme Racer game. I think the problem is that most people aren't going to take the time to personalize a car and really make it their own or bother to get into free roam activities with other racers. The always online left me skeptical at first but finding a couple of other drivers willing to drift train on the fly is the most fun I've had with a racing game ever.

Yes I know, but that isn't the problem here. After many hours of playing NFS 2015 I installed U2 again on my PC (Had the DVD laying aroud somewhere) just to see if what I remembered was just nostalgia of my teenagehood. But, surprise! It was the awesome, adictive driving game I remebered. Beside the graphics, the game still holds up despite being 11 years old.

Why does this keep happening?
They want science fiction elements but they're so obsessed with making a standard, generic JRPG that they NEED the game to take place in a generic fantasy setting.
if the advanced society kept existing doing well and aren't the villains, they'd be the ones to resolve everything and the teenagers wouldn't be needed to save the world anymore

I am physically incapable of making decisions on my own. Is Elite: Dangerous the gem that people make it out to be? Worth 15 bucks or should I wait for the new expansion pack or at least Christmas?

Just started playing again.
The universe feels more alive now that they've added in factions and factional warfare (called Powerplay). So me and some friends scooted to Imperial space and pledged our services to the Empire and are doing shit for them now, which is fun.
They added in wings too, making co-op so much easier.
Planetary landing is around the corner, along with co-op in the same spaceship.

As someone who finished the DLC solo and killed all the bosses (excluding Laurence) within five tries I do think that Laurence is a poorly designed boss.
