What is your favorite spin-off game?
Fangames is also welcome.

I liked StB, I found it oddly comfortable. No incident to solve, no urgency, just some nice music and taking photos of nice touhous and their danmaku.
>>318115456
It's indeed easier than most games if you just want to finish the game.
Trying to get best score is another thing, though.
I hope there will be another photography game.

Valve is fucking Steam Trade. All TF2 and CS:GO and Steam Trading sites outside of Steam will die. All Traders will die.
Can we get 30k signatures and fuck off the escrow? Sign Today: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/steam-escrow-petition
>m-muh money laundering
Pathetic
But I want all trading sites to die

So it's been a while since I lurked /v/, but when I was still a newfag I remember everyone saying how good Planescape: Torment was and how I needed to play it. After leaving this place and several years later, I figured it was about time to make good with my promise and finally play it and you guys weren't kidding, what a great fucking game.
The engine's obviously aged like old milk so the gameplay leaves much to be desired, but the story, the worldbuilding and all the depth left me amazed at how one development team could pull off writing all this shit,...

dumping some character cards for bump
Is this game worth a pickup? Season pass recommended? I want to get into some good horror games.
Also general steam sales thread.
And yes I buy games on PC.

Finally a new design we can shit on again.
>Kampan~
>A cheeky thief with a flare for theatrics, Kampan is a burglar like no other. Her agility and bravado, along with the sheer destructive force of her arm, have earned her the nickname “Iron Mouse” among Tai-Krung City authorities.
>Originally a pickpocket trying to support her starving family, Kampan was arrested and pressed into service as a laborer at an Iron Kingdom ore processing facility. As an expendable prisoner, she was chosen to participate in a demonstration of the prototype new mining equipment under development there. However, the disastrous outcome of several test runs brought an abrupt end to the project, and the “unstable” arm was never completed.
>Upon liberating herself - and the prototype - from the facility, Kampan took a keen interest in its inner workings. Using bits and pieces scavenged during her larcenous adventures, she’s built the once-abandoned arm into a powerful tool and continues to improve upon it.you will never get fisted by that left arm ;-;
A busy week of anticipation is here. Game Awards 2015, where E3's promises are being judged. What do you think the Jury is going to pick for GOTY? What is your pick? And what are you guesses for the other categories?
On the note of anticipation, if you find the award nominees lacking, what do you hope to see at E3 2016? I'm clinging to hope in possibility that it will be about videogames and furthermore, that SEGA will bring out some of their beloved IPs.
I will post this everyday until E3. I will cling to the possibility that iDOLM@STER will be localized.

I will cling to the possibility that a new Devil Survivor game will be announced

PC games used to be sold physically in stores on multiple discs to hold all the data so you could install it without needing internet or some other service.
Now you can barely find PC games on the shelf in stores anymore and even when you do 9 times out of 10 they come with one disc with virtually no files and they require you to download and make a steam account just to download the rest and play the game.
Maybe I'm just cynical and jaded, but does anyone else have a serious problem with this shit? Also it must suck for people with internet caps.
Really? There's a pretty well stocked PC section in my local GAME store.

I miss the huge cardboard boxes with small cd cases inside as well as actual instruction booklets, not some fucking joke like one-page-long flyer telling you to download a pdf from website.
>>318113923
There is usually a few games, but it's either the brand new huge titles like fall-out 4 or blizzard games. There aren't really many small non-chain stores around where I live. Just shit like gamestop
What went wrong?
You for sucking at the game lel
The disregard of the Janus key and the false advertising of Blue vs Osiris. And the AIs rebellion is retarded.
They focused on the mechanics of the game (which are very good) to the point of ignoring campaign pacing, storyline, and level design. Multi is good.

Chitoge a best. Onodera will lose.
Of course. It carries the mark of quality.

Fucking ANN, leave it to them to report on the most irrelevant shit.
How am I supposed to get good at a game if the other players can one-shot more right off the bat?
you play a game that isnt a meme
play deathmatch or some custom gamemodes in the browser to get into the feel of movement / aiming first
>>318113520
You play 1.6 or Source and leave all the bullshit behind and just play the game like it was meant to be played. CSGO is filled with 99% new players that also have developed a different understanding of the game, also those fruity skins are a fucking disgrace because they attract children and faggots.
Why haven't you pre-ordered me yet /v/?
Is all you want from SEGA in the U.S. more Sonic games?
Don't you want to see the most brutal fighting moves in all of video games perpetrated on ugly looking Japanese men?
>>318113363
The Yakuza series is so overlooked, every single entry (except Dead Souls) has been amazing so far
not available for pre order where I live.
>>318113460Dead Souls isn't even that bad.The gameplay is repetitive, and there isn't enough heat moves, but the story is still top tier.I'd play dead souls over most games people would consider "decent"
So, voiced protagonist.
Yay, or nay?
>>318113097

No, shit VAs make the game worse and good VAs are too expensive.
