Though, maybe you'd like to try StB first since it's in order, or the fighters if you don't mind it or into it.
The story mode is hard as balls, though.

I had a lot of fun with Sengoku Gensokyo. The strategic layer doesn't have much depth to it, but the combat is enjoyable and fast-paced by the standards of the genre.
The two Labyrinth of Touhou games are pretty good too.
