Do people actually believe that Chrono Trigger is the best jrpg? It's great, but entry level. It's been surpassed long ago. It's the Ocarina of Time of jrpgs
Literally Gears of War with UT guns.
They even forgot that Facing Worlds is supposed to be IN SPACE. Not in some kind of Chinese garden.
Gameplay aside, I'd like to know who had the bright idea of completely changing the look of the game, presenting everything in depressing brown colors and making big, bulky men in power armors so prominent. Completely unappealing.

Is it just me or is this game actually trash? After about 5 hours I'm ready to just shelve it. Sucks because this is probably Wii U's swan song since Zelda obviously coming to NX.

There are some positives but they're far outweighed by the negatives. Graphics are nice for Wii U. Framerate steady. Unlimited run/no fall damage like XB.

The camera is the worst part. You can move way too fast for the camera to keep up so you're constantly fucking with it. I like the game more or less but you're not wrong.

Hey /v/, I just bought this three weeks back but am feeling major buyer's remorse, and just want to sell it. I opened the package and everything, but I'm wondering how much I could sell it for. Here are the details:

I saw a thread earlier about Mount&Blade Warband. Is it worth it? Any point playing the prequel?
Picture looks scary.
Warband is basically Lord of Destruction. There's no real reason to play the base version of Mount & Blade if you get Warband.
M&B is pretty good. It'll suck you time away like a bitch. You'll think you only played it for an hour or two until you realized you played it from morning to night.
Even though my PC is prehistoric and the game runs like shit on it I still managed to put way too many hours into it.
Warband is the exact same game as the original, only with more content. There is no reason whatsoever to get the first one. (or any others)
The game itself is severely autistic and you will need to spend at least 200 hours to learn the basics. It's fun and you should buy it.

Why is it that pic related was met with such a 'meh' reception even from the time it was announced, but HeartGold/SoulSilver was hype beyond all hype and heralded as a masterpiece?
And what's next? Diamond/Pearl remakes or a second remake of Red/Blue?
HG/SS stuck to the charm of the originals and added good features on.
ORAS had some good features, but cut and changed too much to warrant being a loved title.
Tbh I just hate that font.
There's several reasons why everyone thinks the originals were the a low point in the series, and the remakes did nothing to address them and everything to add more.
