Why do people play these games?
I just tried pic related and I can't really see the appeal.
Am I missing something? I would like to hear from people who spend a lot of time on it.
The game generally has a lot of depth and when you have a group of people to play with, there is a lot of team work involved. Its competitive and has a learning curve so you are rewarded for playing a lot and learning the mechanics.

The more you play the better it gets, plus it's fun to fuck around with your friends in the custom games or pubs.
Don't worry OP, you aren't the only one. Even playing with some friends and on my own for a couple hours, I couldn't see the appeal. Case in point - I did a well timed ultimate ability and killed the entire team which let my team rush the enemy base and win. My entire team congratulated me on such a good ultimate. But I honestly felt nothing, all I did was press a button at the right time. Just not my type of game.
Are you supposed to understand the plot of this game? How did the average pleb in 1999 take it. Has there ever been a more incoherent game ever released?
