I've tried to replay this game at least three times and always get stuck in Teehee Valley. It's such a pain in the ass to navigate and I can never find my way out of there to progress.

Not buying this shit until the whole thing is finished. Episodic RPGs is a fucking awful future and I'm not going to contribute to it.
Sounds good to me. As a gamer, I've learned to just accept the vision of developers and the experience they want to provide. The game is either fun and enjoyable, or its not. It's a pretty fruitless endeavor to build up expectations in your mind or to expect the developers' vision to reflect your own. You'll never be satisfied. FFVII was a defining aspect of my teen years, and I've been looking forward to this as long as anyone. And yet, I don't care if it plays differently or if they make it more episodic and cut out things like the world map. Of course I want the game to be true to the spirit of the original, and I think it will be, but if it's a very different game, that's fine by me as long as it's fun to play and delivered well.
Sonic is a gateway video game of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the game series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.
However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The superpowered characters all trying their hardest to look cool, run fast, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole furfaggotry and everything about the Sonic world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on revenge, and overall preachiness of the series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies and underageb& retards eat this shit right the fuck up.
Sonic is basically THE series to attract the most hated video game fanbase known to /v/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of these games and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Sonic threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.

So /v/, am I the only one who feels that Zero is a non-character in the series, and kinda pointless as well? Like sure he's important in MGS3, but in all other games it does feel kinda worthless to have him as the general head of Cipher. It's like why even do it besides just to give Big Boss a personal connection to an enemy group?
He didn't seem that important in MGS3
