the character you're seeing is a knight-avatar of the player, something which the Souls games tend to do, and all 3 (and soon 4) of them have it on their covers and promotional material

Year is done in 10 days and Blizzard just announced they are freezing alpha till next year. No signs of beta so far.

Yeah, they definitely ought to rush it out to meet deadlines. When they announced they wanted to make yearly expansions, my only thought was "but why not every six months?".

I still play my PS2. It's 13 years old, never opened it, never cleaned it (even though I should), and it still reads CD games, but still, I'm afraid that it may die any second now. What I love about the PS2 is that no matter how much you read about it, you will still find interesting games for it.
