Is it worth $40?
nope
worth $20 at most
>>320715753
Nope.
>>320715753
20$
Guess who's back?
At least looking at the background it seems Trucy is gonna be more relevant.
Actually it might be the opposite.
If that's a poster for one of her shows, it might be the excuse to make her barely appear in the game. Either that or a case where she's accused of murder.
I'm okay with that. I like her.
>>320715706
I hope it's the latter.
I just wanna play Chrono Trigger on a mobile console.
How the fuck do I do it /v/?
Emulation is a legitimate answer
>Pic unrelated.
Ds port is 20 dips on amazon.
>>320715215
Is there a PAL version on Amazon, I'd cost 33 bucks to get it here which is cheap admittedly but I'd hate to spend that much and not even get a functioning copy.
>tfw no deep sea horror games
>>320715119
The problem with deep sea as a setting is that you don't have any architecture, so I think devs are afraid it'll be too dull and repetitive.
I'm with you though, I'd love to see more deep sea games. I think something like Endless Ocean could work great as a horror game, you could have a harpoon as a weapon which takes ages to reload (good for horror) and doesn't need ammo restocks (good for deep sea setting). There could be sea herbs for healing too. Just not sure how the bulk of the game would play because without architecture you can't have either the locked doors mechanic of old school games or the corridor sprinting of modern games.
How would you make it work? I would imagine it just just being somewhat reminiscent of that scene from the Phantom menace where they just swim away from spooky water monsters
>>320715505
>The problem with deep sea as a setting is that you don't have any architecture
So make it like Waterworld nigga.
The sea bottom doesn't have to be boring as shit.
Hello, I just completed Sanitarium, can you recommend me some similar older adventure games?
Preferably with similar dark atmosphere.
It's a pity they don't make adventure games like that anymore..
Maybe something like The Black Mirror (2,3).
That was awesome game too.
>>320715113
>there will never be another dark PnC adventure like Sanitarium
>Phantasmagoria 2 isn't quite the same
>Overclocked is meh
Gabriel Knight is one of the best. First one just got a remake, but I can't stand new Gabriel's voice. Tim Curry rules. There is also Harvester, shitty game, but interesting experience. Kind of similar to the first Phantasmagoria, but with less cut scenes, and horrible combat. And a lot of pointless gore.
ITT when a game hit a little too close to home for you.
>When he's in his new pad in Brazil not knowing what to do then he goes to buy booze
ITT: Characters that remind you of yourself
For me it’s Lego Anakin Skywalker – intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor.
>>320715013
As gay as it sounds, Fallout 4. I watched someone I loved get killed in front of me while I could do nothing about it.
>>320715013
Playing MP3 while slowly getting drunker and drunker, as Max's shit gets more and more over the top was one of the best experiences ever. Brazil is a shithole enviroment for MP3 and Max, but that only made everything even more sad and easier for me to empathisize with him.
Is there any game that defies this chart?
>>320715005
i can't think of any
>>320715005
Dota 2 used to.
You could buy XP boots in the store.
But XP did nothing but increase an arbitrary level, and every level you got a random cosmetic item.
That pic is bait. With that logic team fortress 2 is pay to win, having more guns doesn't mean you're going to be better and neither does xp boosts inherently it depends on the system. You need to be objectively better in a way you can only reasonably get through paying money.
THE WAIT IS KILLING ME
JUST TELL US WHAT THE FUCK IT IS ALREADY
KIMISHIMAAAAAAA

Ugh, fucking horrible. No thanks.
>>320715007
No.
Which Harvest Moon game is your favorite
I only played the GBC one years ago and remember enjoying it quite a lot.
I actually like the PSP one the best. The farming is a little toned down but village life sim aspect is very good in that one.
I was liking Story of Seasons but it got too tedious.MoreFriends of Mineral Town is probably the best honestly
Hey /v/, where the hell is Dino time?
>your majesty
>the king
>father
>me
UHH, I THINK I LEFT DINO TIME IN MY OTHER PANTS POCKET
>>320714906
VEGETA!
Lightning Returns thread ? What day are you in ? 10th here and loving it. I really like the clothes and weapons too, a shame the majority are weak as fuck.
This game is so comfy.
The starter armor is the best desu
>>320714301
How many side quests did you do?
If you tons of them you unlock day 14 and the secret dungeon
>>320714749
If you do the side stuff in the last dungeon you get the original version of the starter sword and shield
Insurgency is dirt cheap on steam right now. Should I buy or save my money for the winter sale in a few days???
>>320714090
It's not getting any cheaper than it is.
Unless it'll be in a Humble Bundle in the $1 tier that is.
>>320715145
it already was
>>320714090
Just buy it Jesus christ people who have to rationalize 3$ are the worst.
Get a fucking job

Thanks Todd.
It's ok 4me.
>>320714079
So you're just buttblasted your toaster can't run Fallout4?
How much money do you think Tobey actually made from this?
>>320714023
Steam Spy showing ~485k owners. At 10 dollars a game, 4.85 million. Steam takes a 30% cut so ~3.4 million before taxes and before paying the 2 or 3 people that contributed a bit.
>>320714328
That's a lot of clams.
>>320714328
Don't forget the $50k he got from Kickstarter.
You have ten seconds to explain why TWINE is bad
The story I'm working on has more dialogue trees/endings than a Telltale game and I bet some of you like those games. It's kind of sad that a game with 3D graphics tricks you into thinking it has any kind of depth.
The quality of your TWINE story is only limited by YOUR abilities and imagination.
It's game dev for girls who don't like actual gameplay.
The World Is Not Enough isn't as good as GoldenEye.
>>320713950
becauase it's not an actual game?
