I've tried to play this game. But I hate it. It is just a chore to get through the combat sections.
I saw that this was an example of how great Bioware was before the Mass Effect ending, but... the dialogue in this game is way worse.

I fucking hate this game, it's either "Fagmin: Why did you hack that one door? No, stop playing and start explaining for the next 15 minutes" or grief servers where it's just kill whoever and kill them again when they respawn and everyone is traitors.
Why can't it be that ONLY murder is adminhelped? And the rest of the shit should always be taken care of by the crew.

I appreciated that the Digimon just went over and straight up kicked the shit out of Red. You'd think the humans in Pokemon would get involved in fighting more outside of genuine battles of sportmanship / league battles.
Like if a wild Mankey was about to faint my Persian or some shit you better believe I'd get in the middle and fight that Mankey myself. Or if some dick trainer was just straight up attacking me I'd box him in the noggin.

This was an official patch original made for the the ps3 version, some rusian used that script and made a pc patch

What does it do differently or exceptionally that other big budget games don't?
it merges gameplay goals with its story almost seamlessly
the game has a lot of violence and killing, and none of it feels wasted or in direct opposition to the characters' motivations and personalities

What controllers to be used on a Windows machine are /v/ approved? I have been considering an Xbox 360 or One controller, are they durable? My understanding is that they use Xinput, will I run into compatibility issues with DirectInput? Is the Logitech controller just a piece of shit?
It seems to me like xinput is basically the standard since 360 era. Pretty much everything supports Xbox controllers; I've been using a wired 360 controller for a long time and have never run into problems.
The only flaw with the 360 one is that the d-pad is bad for fighting games specifically, but the Xbox One controller fixes that. I only got an XB1 one recently though, so I can't technically speak about its durability.

Thanks for the advice. I was more concerned about compatibility for older games, but now that I think about it most of the older games I play are emulated and the emulators generally support Xinput.
Is the elite worth it, or should I just get a regular xb1 controller?
