As an expert video game player (I have completed what many consider to be the pinnacle of challenging video gaming, the Souls series, multiple times) I can honestly say that this game is completely full of artificial difficulty and it's almost impossible to kill a monster without dying one or two times in the end game.
I'm High Rank 7 right now and I'm pretty sure it doesn't get harder than this since I die in one hit to any beam shot by those big monsters Akantor/Ukanlos and I also get one shot by Gore Magala blasts and Tigrex tramples. Seriously, fuck this stupid game with bad controls and artificial difficulty everywhere.

I get pretty assblasted by this game myself. I love it, and its addicting, but I always find myself just getting pissed and not actually having a good time. When they get you against the wall, and your camera kinda' freaks out, and they end up hitting you twice because you can't see shit, and then your character is dizzy and can't move. And you just know that monster is going to hit you a third time and that will be the one to kill you.
Yeah, but I'm still addicted. I'm rank 7 as well, and I haven't beaten the Akantor yet because I haven't played a game yet where half my team doesn't leave.

Living Failure's ost is fucking amazing though, they really did a good job matching the ost with the boss's theme, just suits them so well.
I didn't liked Maria's theme that much, but Ludwig was really good too. His 1st phase music signifies the horror that is the beast, then the 2nd phase feels more like signifies how badass he was when he was a hunter.
