Hey /v/ my dog ran away a week ago because I left for the weekend to visit my parents, I haven't found him yet and he's not at any shelter. I just hope he didn't die or is alone, hopefully someone took him in. I can't find a pic of him but he was a two year old german shepherd. Green- Time units, you need these to perform any action.
Orange- Energy, 0 energy means you cant move even if you have the time units,
Red- bravery, this one is actually pointless to have on display since nothing you do can affect it, its just a signal of how likely your soldier is to lose moral
purple- morale, if it drops below 50, your soldier may panic, move/shoot on his own (can be a real bugger if its the guy with the rocket launcher sitting in the back of the ship) and you wont be able to use him until he calms down.
Everything else is pretty intuitive, the top middle button is the backpack, you can reload and equip guns from here, also if you stand over a corpse, you can loot it from this screen as well.

No. The biggest problem in the game is that 3 of your 4 party members are controlled by the AI by default, and the AI is ridiculously bad to the point where it almost seems like it's trying to kill itself on purpose. It's more important to play and design your team in a way that the AI won't fuck you up over anything else.

I had an idea where you'd be a war photographer. Not really a fighter, but you could use a handgun with limited ammo in a pinch. You'd have to sneak into the warzone and take pictures of your objectives (war crimes, executions, pictures of the big bad, whatever) and you'd be able to sell the photographs to different media sources for cash. The cash lets you upgrade your camera, buy body armor (at a lower stealth chance), bribe money, etc.
You could also get to kill other journalists for their photos, and general dishonest shit (like doctoring photos, changing body placements for a better picture, "getting involved" in a way that gets people killed so you can get better pictures) so you can get more money, but at the risk of media outlets finding out and blacklisting you, cutting you off from a potential money source. The game would give you a week or two to scrounge up enough money to buy passage out of the warzone for your family, where the game ends (good ending = they escape, bad = they fucking don't, obviously).
Apparently there's already a war photographer game being made, and I became angry upon learning this.

In the late 90s to mid 00s they made quirky, cute, games that could very easily appel to all ages (as evidenced by their earlier stuff being rated the equivalent to ESRB's E all across the board) with some playful sexyness with big boobed characters (as is common in all media for children in Japan) and some innuendo; not the purest titles in the world but certainly more appealing and friendly, with most plots revolving around making friends, overcoming enemies, and just all around fun.
Now, and since the late 00s with Criminal Girls, it's about beating poor defenseless girls (who barely do any kind of "sin" for which the game motivates you to literally torture them), often young kids, sexually torturing them for fun, and getting off to all around infriendly, mean-spirited shit that ends up being the absolute closest to hard pornography released by any developer in Japan, somehow even beating Compile Heart and D3, and even without full nudity. Backed by a stupid plot, downright vile and evil reasons for torture, and a mediocre game system again I have to ask:
