i prefer doom II, i guess because its the first one i played and i know it better.
I prefer Doom 2 because original Doom monster set is actually pretty boring, but 2 has some of the coolest monsters ever to star in an FPS to date.

It was so close to being great, but match making absolutely ruined it.
I loved playing the game but with no team building so you're stuck with 100% randoms, there was no teamwork to be found in a game that could become extremely intense once you start introducing teamwork elements.

See? This is what I'm talking about. Smash 4 requires less skill and less technique than Brawl, and as a result of this is less fun than brawl and an overall worse game, and yet a /v/irgin will always claim brawl is worse, as if they didn't like brawl prior to Sm4sh's release.
