I just don't have fun playing Smash.
Every single god damn time one of my friends comes over all he fucking wants to do is play Smash. He refuses to play any other of the real fighting games I have. And whenever I have multiple friends over I have to prepare to be bored for the next couple hours because all they want to do is play Smash.
There is no consequence for winning or losing in Smash, no mistakes are yours and none of it is real. In Street Fighter you lose when your HP reaches 0, in Smash you lose when... I don't fucking know. You lose when you are at 60%, you lose when you're at 600%, you lose when you accidentally suicide off the stage. There is no character in any real fighting game that can "suicide" except maybe like 1 character in one specific other fighting game.

I wasn't expecting them follow through with that alternate timeline the way they did. And the decision toput Chloe to sleepwas maybe the hardest one in the game, even though I assumed Max would return to the original timeline soon after.

I felt like there was definitely something very lacking in GTAV, I think this video perfectly exemplifies why I felt that way. GTA V failed in so many small ways, it's just not acceptable.

I've been using unity for the past year. I'm a competent programmer and have a fairly good understanding of how to use scripts for most things instead of relying on unity's built in shit
The more I look at unreal engine 4 the more I want to switch over to it for my new project, but I don't know if this is just a 'grass is greener' situation
For anyone who's used both unity and unreal, which one do you think is better? Is unreal more competent on a technical side to unity? How similar are they to each other - does unreal use a similar component script system to unity for objects, or is it an entirely different way to think about how objects work?
I'm looking at making a 3D platformer, and comparing even just the tutorials available for unreal compared to unity, unreal seems to be capable of so much more
