I had a program a long time ago that turned any DirectX game into 3D. I could play Crysis with red/blue 3D glasses. Is there a program that does the same just with real 3D on 2 screens?

I didn't like the beta at all because the enemies were bullet sponges and the customization was lack luster. Cool concept but poor to mediocre execution. Typical ubisoft

Basically every mission has you run through some corridors, then shoot a guy who has more armor than other guys. Repeat for infinity.

You can be both sole ruler of Calradia, respected Lord of Swadia or Rhodoks and other factions or a generic soldier in the Kings army in any faction with the Freelancer mod for Warband.
It's a very versatile game.

You're basically asking to play Warband, which gives you the option of doing exactly what you want.
If you want to take it a step further, you can offer your sword in vassalage to the King - so you still follow orders, but are now leading your own men as well.
In essence, play Warband.
