Why do you think this overrated series get's so much love on the internet? What is the single thing you hate most about this series? Do you think it has any redeeming qualities about it?

PS2 kids and the series is deliberately made from the start in a way that panders to both dudebros and neckbeards +making kids feel smart with "deep" themes that are dumbed down to kindergarten level

the MGS3 circlejerk since thats one of the worst stealth games ive ever played, and one of the worst third person shooters too, it literally has no redeeming qualities unlike something like MGS1 and 2 which are atleast unique

ground zeroes, even if a demo, is one of the best stealth games out there, one of the best "open approach" games out there, and has one of the best examples of how to pull off a narrative in a game with great bonus content like the tapes

Is there seriously no reason to own this? I want to become a full idort but honestly it doesn't seem to have any exclusives besides Halo.
Idort here. Avoid it. It really is a Halo machine. I'd sell it but I never bought it to begin with so I might as well keep it.
Halo 5, Oni and the Blind Forest (think it's just a console exclusive), Scalebound, and Crackdown are the only exclusives that come to mind. I'd just as soon use that money and put it towards a PC, honestly

I mean Halo is alright but it isn't really a system seller. Gears and Killer Instinct made it over to PC, Forza Horizon's probably going to follow too...

Which video game world is the best, most developed, or most interesting, and why?

I like the world of TES, despite how its games are lacking in certain aspects, and probably will never live up to how people could imagine Tamriel to be from what the in-game books describe. It borrows a lot from eastern mythology (with some deviation) instead of throwing some Tolkein and medieval yurop bits together and calling it a day.
Hard to answer because people have different taste.
The first game that popped up into my mind was the Witcher, because it has 7 books behind it.
I also thought of S.T.A.L.K.E.R because of how unique its setting is. I'm still going through SoC, but it has a very good atmosphere so far. Dark Souls worth a mention because it's told differently compared to other games, and has a surprising amount of depth, considering how little information we get.
For most developed, it's going to be games that have been running for a long time in a series. I have no idea what Final Fantasy is even about , but it has over 15 games(?) so surely that must be a decently developed setting, elder scrolls also springs to mind in this regard.

It will have Skyrim level hype all over again, except this time, it's from a series that people know. The discussion threads will be so overwhelming a third of /v/ will be occupied towards Zelda U exclusively and a sparse few for other Wii U titles as people jump aboard the Nintendowagon and ask for other games to tide the wait.
