Can somebody articulate why Unarmed/Melee combat feels wrong in F3/New Vegas? They're so similar to each other, I chase fleeing enemies around and attack too slowly (they even run in VATS), you can be much more overpowered from a range with guns/explosives/energy weapons

Unarmed is OP as fuck in New Vegas, though. It still feels pretty shitty because of horrible animations, teleporting in VATS and no advanced targeting but all combat in Fallout 3/NV is bad so might as well be unstoppable while you're at it.

Each play style is overpowered though, it's an easy game. It seems better to be OP from a range
For me it feels more appropriate to use primarily guns in Fallout games. Melee weapons like the Ripper feel right though.
What's a good PS4 game to play with younger siblings? Older siblings? Most games seem to lack couch play.
