Can someone please explain why everyone hates using magic in Dark Souls?
Skilless faggots and hypocrites hate it.
Magic is objectively horrible in souls pvp. It's too slow and easy to roll through, only absolute shitters will ever get hit by it, you need to mix up spells creatively to ever be able to use it well.
Also a simple STR build is way easier for blowing through pve content as you need to worry about less stats and no cast charges, just take that mace and stunlock bosses to death.
I hate magic in general. In contrast, I think swords are the coolest shit. I love the gameplay and animations of Dark Souls. I just wish it was in more of a medieval setting with realistic damage.
It sucks. Buffing with miracles then boarding and swording is so much better.

Managed to get a 45 degree roof to overlap with two other roofs even, but not on the other side.

Seriously though? There couldn't be a more heavy weight contender than Crash or Spyro for this. They already ran their course, they could have died gracefully.
But no, now Crash has died a miserable death after a surge of mediocre games and Spyro's corpse is running off to entertain children in Skylanders which I guess isn't so bad because, at least there, children can somehow look up to him even if he's not what he usually was.

Real shame about Dark Souls II, I was really excited for it but it really shit itself in the midgame. Whole game sort of felt like a slog to go through, like every level was either boring wood area with no personality, or linear hallway with stairs.

Last week, on March 31st, 2016, Final Fantasy XI servers went offline for good ending the last remaining active PS2 title.
In a very real way, last week we saw the PS2 officially die.
The console which released March 4th 2001 sold 155 million units world wide which makes it the top selling console of all time. Sony officially stopped production of the console in 2013 and yesterday ended 16 years of console support.
We all remember the iconic start up and have great memories of some of the greatest games to ever be released. What are some of your favorite PS2 titles?
Some of mine include GTA SA, Madden and ESPN 2k5, God of War, MGS, Resident Evil 4, and Gran Turismo.
