Why did 7th gen last so long and 8th gen is already over? people were squeezing out performance from the 360 and the PS3 up until the very end, while it's only been 3 years into the Xbone and PS4 and they're already dead. Fuck, Sony's already trying to come up with an upgrade, the PS4 is already too out of date, and the Xbone performs even worse. It's possible Ratchet and Clank will be the peak of PS4 performance, and again, it's only 3 years in. Ubisoft has already given up trying to get better graphics out of current gen. Are Microsoft and Sony just lazy? 7th Gen represented a real hardware upgrade, 8th gen was out of date on release and is already cracking at the seams, as people have noticed with FFXV. It just seems weird how we could go form a 7 year gen to a 3 year gen. I know people complained about 7th gen being too long, but this is too short if anything.

Is it actually possible to complete this game without a guide? I've been forced to use the IGN guide to let me know where to go next and I feel like the experience is being ruined but I have no choice. I mean, howe the fuck are you supposed to know that you need to learn a gesture from a random corpse then travel to the other side of the map and use that gesture in a really random spot so you can magically teleport to the middle of bumfuck nowhere?
Is it just poor Nip game design yet again?

Sony tried with that Xperia Play or something, in an attempt to make a "gaming phone". It died pretty quick. If you want to play games decently, you're better off buying something made primarily for that purpose, not something with gaming shoved in.

How can a financially desperate company not take the hint? Why hasn't Blizzard just absorbed the team and monetized it? That's quite similar to what Valve did with the Dota 2 developers. How can Blizzard pass upon another opportunity like this? If their movie and expansion fails, then I would imagine them going bankrupt before launching legacy servers.

15.000 unique account logins a day.
450.000 unique account logins per month.
That could inaccurately be extrapolated to 6.750.000$ a month, if accounts had a 15$ subscribtion fee.
This would allow the 'core' team to have a salary of 225.000$ monthly, if the server did not have upkeep.
I cannot possibly imagine this to not be a financially positive venture for Blizzard, and once again, they fold.

I think it will all come down to the battle system and how they implement the different aspects from the original in a real-time way. The one gameplay trailer looked pretty good to me.
