Why haven't they implemented cross-buy for this service?
Why couldn't they transfer all the games from the Wii Shop VC to the Wii U eShop VC?
Was there really NO way they could have given the GBA games multiplayer?

System interface difficulties. Wii, Wii U, and 3DS all run on vastly different programming. They can't just port a Wii game to the Wii U; they'd need to completely remake the game to run on the Wii U system. Doing so isn't cost-productive, which is why there are so few cross-system titles. Smash 4 and Mario vs DK are the only two I can think of; every other example has an "expanded" or slightly different version on another system.
Same thing for multiplayer. It would need to be completely redesigned to work properly. It's worth it for something like Pokemon, but not for some random Virtual Console title.

I was just talking purely about the Virtual Console games. I'd love having the DKC games on my New 3DS if I didn't have to spend another 8 bucks

Isn't the virtual console basically just emulation, though? I have a hard time believing they are remaking the games from scratch each time.

It has a near flawless PS1 emulator in it, just drop the 6.60 CFW on it and play all the PS1 games you can imagine

It's a passable action adventure game, but compared to previous entries in the Legend of Zelda series the quality feels significantly worse than its predecessors.

Who's fucking idea was this? Are you kidding me? I run the game at 60FPS maxed, but due to some shitty issues with crashing, I'm now at risk to not be able to play online at all? My drivers are up to date, I've verified the game client, and this is a widely stated issue. Anyone have any advice, I just want to play fucking video games

I've been having some problems of my own. Not being able to summon/be summoned, getting summoned but then not connecting, leaving me blocked in every direction by fog walls, infinite load times after returning to my world from someone else's. It's broken as fuck. Your best bet would be to wait for a patch and just play offline until then.

It was a flawed idea from the start.
All it plays are android games, and anyone with a smartphone can play those without a console. Hell, for about 1/4th the cost of an OUYA they can just get a bluetooth controller and even have decent controls for games on their phone.
Sure, it represented an open dev console that had loads of freedom, but in the end it was just a glorified phone game player in a world where cheap smartphones exist.

If it had been stronger, and more open to people who would want to use homebrew, and the system had been cheaper it might of gotten a nice little niche.
I also kek remembering people on leddit thinking it would run Skyrim. That also makes me remember how long it's been since it began.
Any good spectacle fighters or games of the sort on pc? Already have DMC reboot, DMC3, and 4, Metal gear rising. I know there are slim pickings but there must be something worth picking up.
