It's been a couple years since I played it, but I vaguely remember it was some sort of artificial virus? I mean, they're a terrorist group in a post-terrorism world. That's the whole point. Harman is good, and Kun Lan is evil, that's why they're still alive 100 years later.
Like I said, read Hand in Killer7. Most of the "lore" is explained there, but if you want to save yourself the headache just take it at surface level. A lot happened in that game and the story is not "unfinished"--everything is told to you, just not explicitly. Play it again! It's very interesting a second time through. One of my favourite games ever.

The bosses in Dark Souls 3 are legitimately bad up until Abyss Watchers, then hit/miss until Dancer.
Bloodborne bosses were all fun as fuck aside for One Reborn and Celestial Emissary and Living Failures.
Not to mention basic level design of BB is way better than DaS3, even if it's still somewhat linear.

It sure does, but it sure as fuck is not the best Souls. People tend to forget that Latria was not the only level.

What are some games that you play while focusing on other things like podcasts/audiobooks/etc?
My new goto game for that is pic related. I can play it with being distracted since its just moving and shooting.

Try Dungeons of Dredmor, you will fucking love it if you like that game and want to focus on other shit while you will do it.

Almost perfect game. In fifty hours I only got to fight Dredmor himself once and got fucked up when he almost killed me so I reported to Diggle hell on accident.
Do people still play this normally? The players are about 93% bots and the game hasn't gotten a real update in years. Not to mention the rampant cheat engines. Or dare I mention... Kabaam?
It is still a fun game though.
No, I don't play it anymore, it's dead to almost everyone and the few who do actually play it have reached such a high skill level that attempting to do world content with them, such as Oryx's Castle, is near impossible since they bum rush the fortress and leave anyone too slow stuck with the mobs, meaning port out or die, cause you won't get to the Mad God in time for loot.
Dead game, a pity really.
At least Spiral Knights has a bright future.

Why Origins?
Anyone else on /v/ quit PC gaming because of the DRM? I recently gave up on PC gaming because I realize my part in ruining the game industry on PC by supporting steam. Now every publisher is gonna think they can make their own DRM service and make it half assed. Uplay was what made me decide to switch to consoles/handhelds for good.
How many of you anons quit PC gaming? Right now I only got a ps3 but I want to get a vita as well to enjoy those games.
