somehow I've logged 250 hours in free roam on LA Noire
did anyone else like this game? specifically free roam? i found something very eerie about it... the world map was so detailed and yet the game felt so empty. almost mysterious. i would drive around hours looking for something i knew wouldn't be there. for such a poorly received game i always found the world very immersive and the street crimes a lot of fun.
it felt the same way driving around did in gta 3

I had trouble roaming about because there wasn't much to do. No house for the character, no clothing stores, no diners to eat at.

Yeah, yeah. Not talking about it's gameplay, I like it.
Played it alot on PS3. but I got the multiplayer dlc way too late, so by the time I started playing the waiting times were way to long and laggy as fuck. Only reason I'm interested in the PS4 port is for the multiplayer portion, be it Co-op or mercenary / pvp modes. Is the online portion of the PS4 version active? PS3 version is rather dead.
The online is fairly active. That'll probably be a different story in a few months. I usually can find a game in any mode.

So I recently got into this, and it's a nice, lively themepark.
I think "GW2 is dead" is the biggest meme.
I haven't gotten far enough to see how PvE works without the holy trinity, and that worries me because that might be a deal-breaker for me.
It's "dead" because of broken promises, backwards devs, and a half-baked expac.

Without trying to hate I will point some real problems:
>Story mode halfway introduces a plant mary sue where everyone sucks his dick. Funny thing is, it is supposed to be YOUR personal story.
>Removing holy trinity fucked up and they tried to backpedal without admitting it (ranger elite spec is a pure healer).
>Even when the zones are well done, after the first 2 zones you will see that the only objective is running around to 100% the map over and over again.
