I was just playing with another "pro" and a "veteran" and they did this. I scored about 10-15 seconds later. I really don't get it, so many players drop if they go down by 2 even if there's plenty of time left.

Great fucking game. Not sure where the complaints on combat came from; it works just fine and gives you plenty of options. Maybe people expected an Arkham-style "press Y to counter" system?

Tremendous. I'm currently going through all my books, movies, and games that I have to sort out which ones to keep and which ones to get rid of. A massive endeavor, but it should make a lot of room available whenever I finish. Plus, no need to be wasting a bunch of money on new ones.

Music-cutscene normalization was abysmal.
Story was kind of weak, but made up for in secondary quests.
Other than that, it's a solid game.

Then play offline. I played through it and beat it yesterday. For some reason, it didn't have the same impact that DS1 and DS2 had on me, but I think that's me getting tired of the series as a whole. If you liked the first and/or second, you'll most likely like this one.

Which is the superior control scheme, KB&M or Controller?
FPS, RTS/MOBA, and MMORPGs are better with keyboard/mouse.
Platformers, racing games, fighting games are better with controllers.
Most other genres it is either equal with both, or varies on a game to game basis.
