Which is the superior control scheme, KB&M or Controller?

FPS, RTS/MOBA, and MMORPGs are better with keyboard/mouse.

Platformers, racing games, fighting games are better with controllers.

Most other genres it is either equal with both, or varies on a game to game basis.
