Why is /v/ your place to go for videogames?
For me it is because the threshold is such that for a real good game to be on the market it would have to be talked about with positiveness and eagerness on here otherwise it is fodder.

More like MS going around kissing Jap ass. It's all futile anyways. Japanese devs won't abandon Playstation in favor of Xbox anymore. They did that last gen and it failed miserably.

In retrospect, this was a pretty fun game. The face and motion cap and the pretty good story combined made for a pretty awesome experience. I mean, yea there's hardly any replayability and it's linear as hell but it was like a really awesome callback to some good horror movies of the past.
Actually, if we were going to classify this game as a movie, this was probably the best horror movie in the last decade or so.

It really hurts, I wanted to enjoy the game, I still kinda do but the fucking AI, WHY?, maybe I'll go back and force my way through it, sure as hell hope the sequel fixes it because the game is great and I always felt that it was like a pokemon game that was actually modern and updated instead of the rehash shit we get every year.

Even the 3DS which I fucking love, had a miserable launch (even Walmart allowed you to get them at their discounted price before the Ambassador Program ended, so getting it Day 1 was absolutely pointless). If the NX turns out to be the second coming of Christ, I'll be happy for Ninty, but still hold out until the following holiday season.

Despite what /v/ parrots, videogames have been considered an artistic medium for a while.
Not saying all videogames are art, because it's just stupid as implying all movies are art, but many of them have some sort of artistic value. There are videogame museum and videogame art expositions all around the world. Many books have been written about videogames and their design values.

I made a drug addict/chemist on Fallout 4 but there's only so much you can do in a bastardized RPG.
this is actually something that would make me happy too.
I had hoped you could cook meth in GTA V but i was unfortunatly dissapointed.

Wanna know why critics are so angry? Because it attracts far more viewers. Le angry yelling man has been an easy gimmick since AVGN popularized it.
Sterling also understands that people like drama and controversies. He feeds off of that for viewers by making sure his videos/articles have some sort of controversy to them. Some sort of opinion that he likes to claim as fact to stir up readers and create a buzz.
It pisses me off really. And hell Totalbiscuit of all people called out this type of journalism in a recent video. Kinda ironic given how much he used to feed off of drama, but it's great to see him moving away from that.

Tip: play Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne instead
Quality build as Knight is a very good option for people to learn and experiment. Basically means you get your STR and DEX to 40 and the rest of the stats, depending on what you want out of your build, are personal preference but for your first go it's probably a good idea to get your vigor to the softcap, 27, and vit and endurance as much as you want. Unless you're doing PvP I would avoid magic of any kind.
