it is not a dispute that Polish are the ultimate game creators, their third game and second on a bigger scale got goty, dlc is getting goty. Everyone is agreeing this is the best game ever made. I cant even imagine how Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be like.

I like this game a lot.
Its definitely the dark horse of the franchise. If Mario Maker ever released a SMB2 update I'd be all be so excited.

I really enjoyed the gameplay despite despite the weeb element. I was slightly disgusted by its complete romanticization of war and removing most any element of the brutalness of war. It was still a good time though if you look past it.

Is it possible, that the DOOM games are all in continuity? At least the main entrys of the series.
DOOM 1 and 2, Doomguy fights back the forces of hell.
DOOM 64, the Doomguy stays in hell to make sure, no demon ever escapes.
Then i read this in a commentary:
"in the last level of Doom 3, there's a room called "Chamber of the Hero" where there's a large coffin containing the remains of the first Doomguy. There's even a video-log mentioning him "banishing the invading horde forever.""

DOOM 2016, we saw he got captured and locked into a sarcophagus by the demons, that makes doom 3 possible, the demons escaped again.
After that, the UAC starting to us the enrgy from the hellportals and call it Argent energy.
DOOM 2016 happens.
In my eyes, that makes every DOOM game canon.
