Awful gameplay. I'd suggest reading all about the story and everything you can about the Witcher 1 maybe even watch all the important cutscenes in a video and then downloading a perfect 100% save of your choice from the Witcher nexus to transfer over to Witcher 2 so you get all the bonuses and such.

Fun for the first hours but increasingly boring and the cheese aspect of the game starts to show up (the braindead ultimates, ....) I just see OW as the new CoD, a dumbed down gameplay, I'd say OW is to the FPS genre what Mc Donalds is to a 5 star restaurent, its intense, its a mess, its fun at low doses, but it certainly isn't interesting to play in the long run.

I think there's some kind of issue with your post. You said linear games are shit, but this is clearly not the case. You also seemed to imply The Last of Us is a zombie survival game, but it's a character drama.
linear is the best way to tell a story. having side quest and the freedom to do whatever you want hinders the story that is being told and a lot of times causes you to lose focus on said story.

I liked Skyrim better, but I always thought that was because I was an aesthete and not a proper RPG player.
I think Oblivion was more steps forward than Skyrim, it's just that it took those steps wildly in ways people didn't appreciate.
Skyrim was more focused and was a more cynical consumer product, so it felt better in a superficial way.
So I enjoyed Skyrim better, but more everyday I'm thinking Oblivion was the better game.

I love RE6's action combat far more than 4 or 5. If you're going to take the series in the action route go full fucking action, not the half assed tank/action hybrid. Of course i'd rather the series hadn't gone the action route at all, but i'll take what I got. RE6 is a good game.

5 still looks better. I refused to play it till recently. Got it for dirt cheap. If you look past all the bullshit and play coop on professional with a buddy yhere is fun to be had. The multiplayer modes are shit though
