Why the fuck hasn't Pokemon been released on a powerful console such as the PS4? Why is this amazing concept relegated to being rehashed over and over again on shitty nintendo hand-helds. Imagine if an open world Pokemon game were to be released on current-gen systems that includes every single Pokemon created and incorporates PVP online battles. I bought it. My computer's a toaster and it seems to run just fine on PS4. Only issue I've noticed (if it even counts) is that some achievements seem bugged.

Just fucking with you. It's been running great since 2011, and while playingOverwatch, it started to show signs of age. I get 20-30 fps on ultra. I can't really play too many games on ultra now anyway, so i usually stick with medium-high. I don't even mind playing on low settings, but It's been a while since I upgraded my computer.
I have never overclocked my 6950 and I'm wondering if I should just do that instead of buying a new card. Should I overclock or just bite the bullet and buy that new AMD card (pic related)Buying Nvidia is not an option. I can afford their high end cards, but every Nvidia card I or a family member has owned has literally caught fire

I love those games but their popularity ruined them.
The "community" literally doesn't exist anymore.
I've noticed that a lot of recent and upcoming games have a particular look to them.
First thing is that more games are using much stronger and brighter colours, a trend I appreciate (fuck overly dark games which look fine on developer's calibrated, expensive monitors but have all the blacks crushed on most regular TVs, forcing you to ramp up the gamma if you don't want eye strain).
Second is a slightly soft look to things. Not talking about AA techniques but the everything looks more solid but like they're made out of a material like sandstone.
UE4 seems to be one of the driving factors but what are the technologies that are actually behind these looks, especially the latter.

Well yeah, colors are back and I love that colors are back after the shitwhow that was gen 7 but KH is the wrong example, seeing as it was always colorful
And what's happening now is that with the increase in computing power since gen 7, devs have started using higher poly counts and physically based rendering which tend to favor improved lighting and make games, like Fallout 4 for example, look like they're 90s CGI
