Why is Doom II so much harder than Doom? I beat Doom fairly easily on Ultra Violence but am having a hard time playing the same difficulty in Doom II. I also don't mid-level save, by the way.

This game is so fucking good, holy shit. Odin Sphere was already my favourite VW game despite all its problems, and this is basically that with everything they've learned about combat design from Muramasa and Dragon's Crown, and the more tedious bits cut down. Plus the original is still there on the disk if you want to play it.
I never buy CEs but I'm really glad I got the Storybook Edition for this.
You really need to play on Hard though. And even then it's still easier than the original.

My opinion: they have put thought into what they would do if they remade Morrowind today, and they think it would be a lot of effort. This likely means that they have thought about ruining Morrowind with mechanics from Skyrim. How does that make you feel?
To elaborate, I'm saying that slapping some HD textures over Morrowind is not a big task. They don't need to voice act anything, and it wouldn't be good if they did.

It's ultimately not a big deal. Rockstar have to let you be able to stomp around their sandbox even after you finish the story. It's just the only way to achieve that without compromising RDR's great ending is to have you play someone else.
What bugs me is that his voice actor doesn't even try to sound different from his delivery as from before the timeskip. So he looks much older but still sounds 12.
