I literally had no idea this game was out. I saw that you had to unlock basic parkour skills and stopped paying attention. Also I think open world is a choice that will actually lower replayability

This is a major blow, this does suck ass on all fronts. Massive delay, no dual audio, our CE isnt as good.
But you know what? Crying on 4chan isn't going to do anyone any good. We have to start message bombing Sega, their parent company, and get them to take control of the situation and actually fix one, or more, of the three current issues plaguing the game as of now. Meaning we'll either get the original 2016 release, dual audio, or the better CE, or with some unholy luck, all 3.
START MESSAGING SEGA AMERICA, TWITTERS, EMAILS, LETTERS EVEN. I've already sent 4 emails to them. Its stupid but theres a 1% chance it'll work out for the best in the end. DO SOMETHING INSTEAD OF CRYING FUCKERS

Dual Audio is possible with the delay but extremely unlikely, cause the people that want it are just a very vocal minority sadly
The better CE is possible, but again unlikely
Atlus isn't exactly known for giving a shit about their fans outside of japan, even if it's starting to bite them in the ass now without them realizing it
If they actually put some effort into it they could have used P5 to slowly replace FF as the biggest JRPG series in the west

I'm asking if a game is worth $15 christ not every thread on /v/ is shilling.
The first one was honestly just okay. All the numerous bugs and glitches aside it was an okay concept with a lackluster story and sometimes fun but VERY repetitive hacking mechanics. The physics are pretty off too. The multiplayer wasn't that fun for me and I would imagine it's dead now.
The summer sale is going to be sometime around the 20th-26th so just wait until then to see if it goes even lower, I wouldn't pay $15 for it
Fuck this artificial difficulty bullshit. I'm a veteran of the Souls series (you know, the game considered by many top gamers to be one of the, if not the most, difficult series in video gaming) and I can safely say this game is just unfair.
Healing takes WAY too long and leaves you extremely vulnerable. Your potions and supplies should refill once you rest in town and more than one boss shouldn't appear in the same zone.

I don't have the infinite patience to start grinding another monster hunter game. I don't know how 13 year old me got to the 7 star quests in the original.

I really want to make Jam work, but she seems like way too much effort for way too little payoff. I LOVE using Kum though. She is tons of fun and reminds me a lot of SF in the way you play her neutral. Her super is basically all versions of Aegis Reflector combined too. Raven is cool, but honestly the projectile ruins him for me. I'm just so sick of Xrd being all about oki projectile setplay. It's really boring and I feel like Raven could have been a lot cooler if he had a different special move instead of the projectile. At least Kum's is interesting.
As for the game itself, it's still Xrd and it's still fun though I would like to see some rebalancing alongside Dizzy's addition. It's fun playing the new characters as the game feels fresh again, but then I also ended up fighting tryhards using Elphelt and Johnny and already the fun was starting to wear off.
I will say though that the game already feels dead. It has more players than Xrd did at the end of its lifespan, but not by much more, which is a really bad sign imo. It's not too hard to find games right now, but it feels like day one Xrd again which I know what that means: by the end of this week or next week most people will have stopped playing already.
Hell I already see a lot of the same exact people that played Xrd and were on every time I signed on. The community for online Arcs System Works games just does not grow and all you'll see are complete novices or gods.

I'm having a ton of fun with it as someone who does not really know how to play fighting games that much. Although I do agree that it feels like it'll die pretty quickly, which is a shame, because it's god damned good.
