A good number of /v/ players have been playing games for nearly twenty years, some even more. I find Drake entertaining to listen to and Sully's a bro, but honestly they aren't much as far as games go. It's near impossible to fail at climbing, the puzzles aren't that hard either and the characters following you around usually mention where to go if you don't instantly find it out yourself. When you look at it closely it's not as much of a game as it's advertised to be.

I don't hate Naughty Dog, the devs are some cool people. I enjoyed that video about people with disabilities and the little, optional things they added in to allow them to play it. Cool shit.
That being said, Uncharted 4 was just boring. I loved replaying Uncharted 2 and 3 with goofy extra shit on, but 4 didn't have a single level I wanted to replay. By chapter 16 I didn't even want to continue.

They're exist solely to annoy the shit out of everyone. Even if they go down in one shot, they can make up to six extra targets you have to shoot. That's a whole second team's worth of targets. And they slow you down.

The argument Gripp makes is that the brain doesn't have an infinite capacity to think about things, so some things will be focused on and prioritized over others. From that, the conclusion is that if you want a game world to be immersive, you can't have super dense game mechanics. The mechanics will be brought to the mental forefront, and the things that make a game world immersive will fall by the wayside.
Games with dense, difficult, intricate mechanics can exist in the same world as immersive games that focus on the story and experience, one's existence doesn't exclude the other.

The sound design in the game is important which is unique to a lot of run and gun shooters. And it's easy to kill and be killed making the action very vast.
It handles "easy to learn, difficult to master" very well.

Look, I know that if you play as D Va, you've probably thought about killing yourself before. Hell, you probably think about doing it every day. Please. Please. PLEASE kill yourself.
Even the most skilled D Va player does barely 100 damage before getting his mech destroyed. You're just feeding enemy ults. You're not helping the team at all. You're even worse than a Hanzo/Widowmaker who can't aim because beyond basically being an empty slot you are actually helping the enemy team kill your teammates by charging their ults.
Whenever I play against an enemy D Va, I rejoice. The least mobile, least damaging, most fragile "tank" is there purely to charge enemy ults.The Umaru memes are also so embarrassing. Why don't you post a picture of yourself instead? Every time I play with a D Va I know I'm playing with a pasty, feminized beta male who probably has only ever had sex with 4/10s, if that even.
