Best Buy had several Sony games listed for $14.99 the other day (the best ones are still that price), I was considering buying them all until I seen stinkers like this one.
And also the graphics aren't even that good. I never understood how this series was some kind of graphical showcase yet even Killzone 2 and 3 were incredibly ugly on the PS3, and Shadowfall is completely outclassed by Battlefront and Doom (both of which run at 60fps). Yeah maybe it was the best looking when it came out, but even then, I saw the visuals and I thought they were just meh.

Cautiously optimistic. I don't give a fuck about the story or the characters, as long the game play works, there's fun exploration, and co-op is just as good or better than Galaxy at War.

Bullshit. You'd have to be a complete numbskull to believe this. Everyone is in a dry period where they're complaining nonstop because we've seen nothing BUT zelda and pokemon and thats all thats expected till 2017.
But think of this logically. Nintendo is under new management. Iwata was friendly, held directs and gave us information on new games, but that in of itself was a mistake. Why? Because when E3 rolled around, they had nothing new to show and nobody cared because they already saw it on the nintendo directs months prior.
By killing the Directs, they allow themselves time to build up hype again, This year they're going to show a bunch of new things that haven't even been revealed to the public LIKE ANY GOOD COMPANY SHOULD instead of playing out their hands and showuing asset pipelines as if they were milestones the way every trash indie developer does.
Mark my words. Nintendo will have some new things this E3. They may not be good things, bu they will be new and unheard of.

By far the best game in the series, goes back to its SC1 roots, ads depth and solid mechanics over stupid minigames, expands on many of the original mechanics, overall a great game.
