The publisher was nice and supportive until after E3 when everyone saw.the game. Then they got all weird and demanding. After we essential said "stop acting weird" they didn't say anything as far as I know for months and months. We just sat there waiting to finish the game.
After two years of waiting I left the company. Then a guy who works for the publisher casually told someone in an interview that they were no longer interested in working on Prey 2. It would've been nice if they had told us earlier instead of waiting every week for years to hear from them.
The game was in a typical production state and could have been released in 2012 if they had let us.

I find it extremely annoying.
It's an enormous pain in the ass but it at least encourages you to try out different weapon types in games where that is meaningful (i.e. different movesets/abilities)

Showed a tiny bit of gameplay that reminded me of a mix of the R&C games, but combining the Ratchet platforming segments with the support bots of the Clank segments, specifically Going Commando.
