I liked it but the visuals were utter ass.
I hated those GBA games that tried too hard to have pseud-3D and ended up looking like pixelated mess.
I borrowed the first game from a friend.
It was okay. Music is very memorable, didn't care for the characters.
Sequel had much better puzzles.

Also this. Magazines were praising it at the time, but the wonky perspective and blurry explosions during battles really bugged me.
